Ah science, it has been your friend since you were a child and now you are an adult. Science is still your friend and together you will make your dream come true. Speaking of which; what is your idea?
A)cloning of some kind
B)genetic manipulation
C)computer sciences
D)something else(write in, something sciency from fiction, history, or the future(the following are not allowed due to the last game: Zombies, psychics, morphing cube, Advanced AI, human+animal gene splicing, magic))(all subject to my approval)

Oh ya and what is your name?

What is this: An RTD about being a crazy scientist.

How many players: 10 max, 2 min
Update schedule: Ya that never has worked. Just hope it does not end.
Is there an ending: No more scientists, 1 month without an update(unless I mention a hiatus), or 1st scientist with 10 patents(can be extended if I so choose and the players wish)
How do I get patents and what are they: Sell an invention or steal one from another player, for this game they are victory points and give a small amount of income due to other using your patent(amount varies based on what it is)
 How do I steal one: Do you want me to tell you everything?
  Yes: Figure that one out on your own.
Where are we: Does Earth sound good?
 What if I say no: Too bad.
When are we: 1936 a couple years before WW2
 Why: Because I said so.
Will there be a sequel: Ask me when this ends.
 Is this a sequel to something: Yes, though more of a prequel.
What is the turn time-frame: 1 day to 1 week(possible time-skips and longer turn durations in the future)
What are our starting funds: 10 US dollars

Glassie, a pale and skinny person who seems to ooze ineptitude, with a pet golden retriever assistant to handle safety and tasks which require dexterity or common sense. Interest in computer science.

Idea: Metaphysics. Amon is obsessed with becoming a god and selling lesser, bottled forms of these scientific powers to further fund his research. (To anyone that knows worm, I do not wear a fedora. I promise.)

Examples: Precognitive machine, It uses metaphysics and its godly intellect to create accurate simulations of the future, effectively knowing the future. It can be fooled by lack of data. (Would require lots of good rolls to make.)


Basically, what I’m going for is op machines that take fucking forever to build. Or weak (pull a rabbit out of a hat) kind of machine. I’m trying to use advanced science to effectively replicate, or mimic magic. (This is subject to nerfs at the GM’s say so.)


How you like it? Too much or is it alright?

It's going to be very difficult to make metaphysics machines, good luck.

Also, can we make mind control machines to trick/charm our way into getting a patent?

Yes and yes

We have 8 players right now. If you want to post an action for the first turn/day setup you can. For your info each of you are in the US, if you would like another country it has to be a well to do(for the time) country.
