I can confirm that a NK was attempted upon me.
It is possible that UselessMcMiner is town vig and mafia decided to not-kill.  But more likely UselessMcMiner is just scum.

The Counting Stones

The discussion this time is remarkably short. Weaving a Web of Words, webadict declares UselessMcMiner untrustworthy and clearly unfit to be chief. Most of the Elders quickly agree.

UselessMcMiner looks around, tosses his counting stone at webadict's feet, and stands up.

"Ugh. Fine. I didn't need to be Chief anyway."

True to his Cat Totem he stalks out of the tent as if it were his own volition and not due to the votes of the other Elders.

Vector seems oddly upset about that. After a bit she declares that Sparrows are not meant to lead, and bows out of the running. As she leaves she mentions that she'd have preferred if Toonyman or UselessMcMiner had been made chief.

Interesting.

The Moot continues. Spirit Walks are undertaken, votes are tallied.

At the end, it is decided that webadict should be the new chief. It seems that the patience and wisdom of the spider served him well indeed.




And that's game! A bit shorter than I'd have expected. And hurt a bit by some people being too busy to really play much. But I hope people had fun anyway.
