Since quicktopic is shutting down, I have set up a discord channel for us to use this game. Everyone please join the server, and set your username for it to match your Bay12 name. I will have private channels for the scum as well as dead chat, but the general channel can be used as a generic hangout for people (including those not playing the game). Please refrain from discussing the game in that channel while it is progress.

When it is appropriate for you to get access to a restricted channel I will grant you the role, though depending on my schedule there may be some slight delays in that.

In other news, roles will be going out shortly and we will begin the game.

The old Chief has died, and as the customs of your people demand a new Elder must be chosen as the new Chief. And so a Spirit Moot must be held.

 The ten of you have ensconced yourself within the Spirit Hall to decide upon a new Chief. The process is simple. You shall take votes to determine an Elder who is least worthy of the mantle of Chief. That elder is then ejected from the Spirit Hall, and no longer has a voice in the proceedings. Between each vote you take of the holy medicines and send yourselves on a Spirit Walk up to the Spirit Realm, there to seek the guidance of your spirit animals. But there are tests of strength in the Spirit Realm, and any who are found unworthy will be left unconscious when you return to your bodies. Those who failed are obviously unworthy of being chief, and so are removed from the Moot.

 When only one Elder is left, that Elder is crowned Chief.

 Yet this time...something is wrong. There are rumors that a few of the Elders are colluding to ensure that one of them becomes chief. This cannot stand. You will need to determine who these Elders are and remove them from the Moot if you want to have any chance at a fair election of the Chief!

Please smack me if I lose my temper. Since that probably isn't possible we need a warning word or something. I really feel like a failure after the last two rounds in MVM3. I want to try emulating NJW's style more and not get into stubborn tunnels either. Obviously this doesn't apply if you're mafia, but I do think I'm good at reading you at this point. I'm basically 3 for 3 from MVM3 if you don't count the game I was scum so I'm not really worried about being blindsided by mafia!Jack.

@4maskwolf: Why are you hunting for power roles so early? As I assume you're not admitting to having Revive with your first post, my thinking is that you want to see if someone else has it.

I don't have revive, and have no reason to believe it exists.  Best to keep things that way.
