That’s a hard one.  What do you mean by “without knowing about it”?

What do you mean by “never heard of the thing in question”?  Do you mean that they’ve never experienced/had it happen before?  Or, that they have, but didn’t recognize it for what it was?

For that particular “average person”, I’d say it’s not something they’d “do or experience”.

I had never heard of this thing and had to google the meaning. Not sure anyone here besides you knows about it. I kindly suggest it may be more fun to guess easier things.. words like `friendship´ and ´south´ turned out to be a challenge. This one is almost impossible to guess unless you are an expert in the relevant field.

Hmm?  To hard?  I don’t remember seeing anything in the rules saying that the thing(r) had to be easy to guess.  Also, you’d be surprised what you can guess if you whittle down the possibilities with the right questions first.

Also, why did you google it?  There was a link to the Wikipedia article right in the spoiler!

I didn't say it is against the rules, I only said it isn't much fun. Again, look at how many pages it takes people to guess simple things. There is no law against picking a thing that no one even heard of, but it does make the game a lot less entertaining.
