So it is an artificial object, small enough to be swallowed, partially made out of metal and plastic (but no wood or silicon,) sharp, non-malleable, uses electricity to function, used to be more common in the past, is a component of a computer and not used by the military.
Also of note that A_Curious_Cat can't tell if it's a specific or general item, nor if it's the latest model.

Does it contain glass?

Not that I know of. I suppose it’s possible that either the ISS, or the Chinese space station could have a computer that has one, but I doubt it.  In any case, it’s not used aboard satellites.

No.  Also, it could, probably, be found in both sharp and non-sharp versions.  Also, although it was more common in the past, I don’t think it was all that common even back then.  It’s not specifically military, but that doesn’t mean that it couldn’t have been used by the military at all.  I’m not really sure what you mean by a specific or general item, and finally, there weren’t different “models” of it.  Hope this helps!
