There wasn't much you could do in the cuticle like ship anyways. Ends intro.

"A minute left. Please prepare yourselves for the entrance." Said the A.I.

The veil is very visible now. Its very much like a sheet of darkness, but has metallic shine to it.

"30 seconds left."

You all wait in anticipation, at last, you can get out of this pathetic, small box of a spaceship.

"5,4,3,2,1. We are he- Shield damage sustained!" A.I starts freaking out.

Then, you see it. The light. It is the every color of the rainbow, all separate yet combined, shining into the ship as it is torn apart.

"Sustained major structural damage, preserving passengers.". Ship suddenly changes course, and instead targets the nearest surface it can find. It all takes 5 seconds.

BAM

The ship has crashed into an unknown place inside The Citadel. The transport ship has made its final landing as smooth as it can to save you. Smell of grass and burnt dirt lingers in the air you all breathe.

One by one, you all get up from the debris, with few scratches. You are on a very light green plain of spongy lime grass, under a mostly black, yet blue tinted sky, illuminated by the corrupt light that just attacked you, which has calmed down. On the horizon, there is a segmented, shattered megastructure that curls and goes behind the light and back, to a severed section that was once a part of this particular plain.

It's a 10 segmented ring world, built around another distinct structure, which emits light from its top. It is obviously damaged. Two sections are fully gone.

It's a one was path ahead into the waist length squeaky sponge grass.

Name: Hae

Species: Cthrone, reptilians which have evolved over time to closely resemble humans, to the point that they are nearly indistinguishable.

Description: A priestess of a definitely-blasphemous and bad religion following the force which is ripping apart the universe. Has an esoteric air about her. On a holy mission which may or may not entail destroying the world.

Ability: Channel Light
A magic school focused on using "The Light" which emanates from the citadel. A force considered dangerous at best by the sensible, some mad fools hold it to be holy.
Can do a great many things, though the caster's intention only matters a little. Primarily used to heal injuries and protect, but bad luck might change the outcome greatly.
Casting spells in this way takes a slight toll on the user's body, causing exhaustion over time.

Equipment:
Glitched Robes: Janky white ceremonial garb which sometimes partly phases through solid matter or changes visual properties. Occasionally parts of it will become invisible, along with the corresponding part of the wearer underneath. Serves no practical purpose beyond that of normal clothing.
Memory Focus: A straight wooden staff with three metal bands, one in the middle and one at each end. When the user casts a spell using Channel Light, the staff remembers the outcome of that spell and stores it, allowing the same spell to be cast again with no roll. Can store two spells this way, if a spell is cast while both slots are full it overwrites one of the stored spells.
Regen Cube: A black cube which fits in the palm of the hand. Holds a powerful regenerative energy, but once used it is spent and cannot be used again.

Name: Sir. Az'zak the Gray
Species: Kobold
Appearance: Az'zak is a kobold with gray scales and shiny yellow eyes, he wears a set of fitted breastplate armor that encases his upper body and protects his shoulders & neck with spaulders and a neck guard. Decorating his armor the kobold wears a knightly tabard with the crest of a rearing dragon with gray scales, and upon his head Az'zak sports a visored iron helm with a bright red plume extending from it.
Personality: Az'zak is not your typical kobold, as he is quite courageous and bold oftentimes appearing foolhardy to others. He is a knight through and through whom upholds chivalry above all else, as he never breaks his promises. Az'zak is bound by his own morals and will never do something that goes against his beliefs. In addition he is always ready to help those in need of assistance, especially those who cannot help themselves.
Equipment:
- Suit of fitted breastplate armor; includes shoulder spaulders and neck guard, decorated with a red tabard that has a crest dipicting a rearing dragon with gray scales.
- An iron helm with a visor and a fancy red plume.
- A shortsword with an ornate scabbard.
- A small crested shield.
- A fancy red cape.

Morals:
- Never break a promise unless it is absolutely necessary.
- Never harm children or the elderly.
- Never attack someone without provocation.
- Always fight with honor and never stoop to fight dirty.

Sir. Az'zak awakens with a start and titters, barks than hisses in his native tongue. The words likely would cause the most conservative of folk to look at the knightly little reptilian humanoid with distaste "What in the hells is going on?" he finally spoke in proper human speech as the tiny knight pushed himself off the ground and surveyed the room.

(12): Dr. Unpleasant picks at the debris, and finds out that the ships delicate components were all crushed into uselessness on impact. But he manages to salvage the preciois metals themselves, the gold and iridium.

(6): Amon tries to use his magic to sense possible presences around. But something in the surroundings distorts the spell. It is somewhere ahead.

As you do your things, you see something rushing to your direction. It is a shapeless and colorful thing. You then notice that it is screaming and is covered in mouths and eyes.

A Fathom approches!

"Ah, perfectly normal fauna for this area. Nothing to be worried about. That being said, you might wish to kill it before it devours you."

"Lo I will fight this unholy aberration, I swear it." with a loud metallic hum the kobold drew his sword from it's sheathe, he bared his teeth at the Fathom "In the name of all that is holy I challenge you!" Sir. Az'zak shouted at the Fathom, challenging it to a duel.
