Can the Bodyguard confirm Blue please?
Don't confirm, that just makes it easier to shoot the commander. Which is what they want.

Blue has the right of it though, as commander I'd know who were the spies. Spies know it too, even if they don't have chat. Your actions effectively make it impossible you will be targeted at the end of the game, same with web. Granted, you are spies, so that would hold true anyway.

The bodyguard confirming someone is also idiotic, since that would hand the spies the win.

Tric, BK, the point of this game is twofold.

You have to find the Spies, AND
You have to hide the Commander.

Claiming Commander is easily disproven by having a Bodyguard say otherwise.

If ToonyMan is a Spy, am I a Spy for claiming Bodyguard for ToonyMan?
If I am a Spy, is ToonyMan a Spy for accepting my Bodyguard claim?
If we're both Spies, why hasn't the Bodyguard negated our claim? That would one hundred percent find us, yes?

You aren't thinking about any of this because you're both Spies.

I am the Bodyguard. Is ToonyMan the Commander?

Your only move is to claim Bodyguard.

And if you do that, you out yourself as Spy.

The smartest play is to say nothing. It's a ploy to out the Bodyguard - who would then out the Commander by association.

You want the Bodyguard to claim for it. They won't.

Is it though?

The Bodyguard should claim at this point since we're at lylo and need all the help we can get, the risk of association is still better than straight up losing.

Actually - let's lay this out.

If the bodyguard claims - then the Commander can be outed - or his capabilities as a Commander can't be used, as he must avoid outing himself.

You haven't disproven anyone else. If one of you is the bodyguard - you should have done as you said.

BUT YOU DIDNT.

Oh, how oh my can I guess why? Is it because outing yourself as a bodyguard is a death sentence to your Commander? Or perhaps because you both are faking it.

This play is bullshit, pulling it out now because you're panicking - you're only one win away. All you need to do is herd the sheep.

I'll pass anything without Web or Toony. That's two people of nine - seven left to pick from.

Seriously, protecting BK was the wrong move. I already told you it's not ToonyMan (which, again, should be obvious...), but you are shielding BK so hard the whole game.

You should be claiming I'm shielding EJ. Why not? Why not point that out, Vector? Is it because EJ is Town? Am I shielding ToonyMan, too? JG?

You didn't even go for FoU on my team. That would've been a much better shot.

So, y'all can discuss assassination plans now. Go ahead.

Thanks for explaining to me how to play this game and what I should be thinking as I play it.

I'm not pointing out that you're pocketing EJ because we've already had that conversation. Early in the game. We talked about how you pocketed BK as scum in Supernatural, remember?

Look: You're obvscum. I know you get upset about being outed because you have a certain image of your skill in this game, but your #1 scumtell is Leading the Town, and here it is: explaining to all of us what we should be thinking and doing, and declaring what our options are and aren't. If you can control everyone's movements, you think you can always win; and declare that any failure on your part is because people failed to follow your directions. Works great as town (no responsibility), works even better as scum (tells everyone what to do and how to think).

Sadly, I'm not falling for that bullshit and neither should anyone else.

@Vector:
Why do you believe Bluarian wouldn't lay low on Mission A, Vector?

This is mean, and I'm gonna say it: I don't think that they're capable of playing scum without someone else telling them in clear signposts what to do. They don't have the independence required, or even the experience, to pull off that kind of coordination. Just look at what happened in MM MM. You're trying to tell me that in a game without a scumchat they decided to take a high risk move like that all by themselves? No way. They didn't even know what had outed FoU and NQT in MMMM! Like, yeah, we all like them and they're nice to have around, but can they pull this shit off? Nuh-uh.

Nice try, scumbag. Toony x Web scumteam is in hot water today.

Case in sloppy point.

Everyone has been claiming commander all game, Web. It's a risky play to do what you're doing as scum, but I think that everyone except for ... maybe KnightWing ... has claimed commander by now. Everything you're talking about is NAI because the bodyguard has to try and shield the commander and the commander self-outing would mean three perfect missions for town but that the commander gets assassinated.

True, true. But, just one pitfall:

I am the Bodyguard. And I say ToonyMan is the Commander.

You know damn well that the real bodyguard can't counterclaim or else Town loses. Stop acting like this confirms you somehow as anything but scum.
