I read somewhere on forum it's possible but wiki doesn't state anything.

Does anybody know how to become an elephant man in adventure mode? I literally did all advanced world settings possible to increase chances.

What do you mean by "train"?

Do you mean increasing your skills and attributes?

Do you mean training animals?

Do you mean using minecarts and tracks like a train?

I want to start a level of conflict where I train weapon skill with someone. This must not be a brawl.

The moment you draw a deadly weapon, combat escalates. So you can't really train weapon skill harmlessly with your friends yet in Adventurer. It's a common suggestion over on the Suggestion board. With the addition of parties, hopefully it's not too far off implementation

I read somewhere that if you give someone to hand a training weapon and attack them with training weapon it triggers training combat.

The last time I played adventure mode, I would stroll down to he nearest beach and grab crabs. They are slow so you can often catch them.

Watch out for their pincers! They can snip off a nose or such, but have a very difficult time penetrating even normal clothing.

I think I remember horseshoe crabs too but I may be misremembering.

If you are careful with your weapon strikes, you may be able to obtain some basic skill levels with your crab. If it dies you can eat it, fueling further crabbing at the crabbery beach, or sell it for pinch resistant clothing.

Horseshoe crabs.  Master Limulus can teach you armor user, shield user, dodge, and wrestler.  Make sure you show up at his dojo wearing full armor.  Otherwise, his gentle pushes might break the skin and cause infection which you will die from.  Search the forums for “horseshoe”, “crab”, and “train”.  Also, review the wiki article on macros.  Unfortunately, the Master cannot help you with your weapon skills.  You will have to seek out another master for that.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, workarounds exist obviously, but none of that has anything to do with the lack of (or possible existence of as the op claims to have heard) training/sparring option in Adventurer.
