Pregnancy time
« on: October 07, 2020, 07:03:37 am »

As I know, sentient citizens give birth after 9 month of pregnancy, non-sentient livestock do this after 6 month. But I don't know about trolls and other SLOW_LEARNER, especially now (when I need this knowledge).

Since they're sentient, it should be 9 months.

But they are livestock (not citizens) and breed like non-sentient because SLOW_LEARNER, so this need direct testing.

For make blizzard men breed without removing hermaphroditism.

Why not just do it and then report to the forum and the Wiki if you find something new?

DFHack can allow you to look at the pregnancy field. It's part of the unit.

So, I tested this. Trolls give birth after 6 month of pregnancy, they have the same timer (200000 ticks) as beak dogs.
