not vote to stockpile resources, only to spend them elsewhere.

You strike the earth several times. You clear a space. You find some normal stone of various types, and some copper nuggets.
You smooth the space, carefully shape the rocks into some fine furniture and a door, and then engrave a dwarf and a button above the bed. The dwarf is clicking. The button is cowering.
With some simple craftsdwarfship, the button can even be pressed.
You press the button. Nothing happens, but it makes a satisfying clicking noise.
Soon, two more dwarves arrive. You watch them mine until they run out of food.
