(don't worry about sterility besides cleaning the drill and submarine somewhat before launch, the years in vacuum should kill absolutely anything).

Dogs should be able to vote.

Why should dogs be given the vote and not cats? Why not birds? Wasps? Ants? We now need a way to teach various animals the meanings of words and how to read them, and what the party system is, and what campaigning is, and having the, remember that humans don’t always do what they say they’ll do once in office

No offense to bacteria, but members of that phylum lack nervous systems and brains, how would they learn what is required to vote?

I feel like even tardigrades won't survive literal years in space. Still, clean the equipment first.

Animals being able to vote would require them being genetically modified to have more powerful brains-- which might not be possible on smaller animals without cybernetics. At that point it's mad science.

Because they'd legalize hunting people for their amewsment.

Wasps are out, too. They're just terrible.

The hives serve as nests, I would think the place where young are raised would be a home

They have really fucking aggressive definitions of their home. I walk under a bee hive and they bump into my face with nary an inkling of aggression. I exist in a 300km radius of a wasp hive and I will be very aware of its existence soon, as the buzzing fokkers initiate the london blitz on my poor shed
