Books and musicboxes are examples of non-digital yet information-containing objects.

does it contain moving parts?

Only in the sense that anything with a sharp edge can make and effective weapon (heck, you could probably use it as a "weapon" even without giving it any sharp edges.  It would all depend on your "miscellaneous object user" skill.)
