Necromancer towers. Either you're nearby one and they decided to siege you, or you raided them and they're here for vengeance.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Before you embark, always check the neighbours list. No neighbours will give you a boring game, goblins a standard game, humans and elves an extra trade caravan and Towers an early visit from the walking dead.

Raid anyone you want to attack you that aren't on the list.

Necromancer armies attack sites, kill (almost) everyone, then raise them as undead. So, yeah, elves, dwarves, plump helmet people, they're all coming to get you.

Thanks!
Its now on the world map in the civ screen that i try to discover a necro(mancer)tower(s)
Unfortanely i could not decipher all tiles from the world map ( pity )

Can't determine where a necrmancer tower is standing as it is the source of the SIEGE on the fortress.

The SIege is quit a long time going on ( did not noted the startdate), but if you want to hide in a burrow ,the dorfs  needs food and drinks to pass the time ( perhaps a connected inn for better mood ), sleep, dormitory, diningroom(or maybe they eat/drink from the barrel ?)

Are you using a tileset or just ASCII? In ASCII mode necromancer towers are represented by a purple "I", and even if you're using a different tileset they'll probably still be some shade of purple, pink or red. They may or may not be surrounded by an evil region.

If you want to hide during a siege the minimum you need is a source of alcohol/water and a source of food. A singe 5x5 farm plot should be sufficient for both food and brewing. You don't strictly need a dining room with tables and chairs -- your dwarves will just eat/drink straight from barrels -- but they'll get a bad thought every time they eat without a table or drink without a mug. A water source is only required if you have injured dwarves or prisoners. Bedrooms are fairly essential if you want to avoid bad thoughts. If you've got cats or are planning on butchering any animals you'll also probably want to set up a system for disposing of refuse underground without exposing your dwarves to miasma.
Less essential but still desirable are the various locations such as a tavern, library, and temples.

The purple "I" over on the far left of the island looks like the culprit. I've marked it with a red circle:

Thanks!
The big I is sure recognisable ( overlooked by me: i was distracted i think )
That purple surrounding that should be then a evil region?

Oh no that I ..is the Dwarven Tower of Wheelsreason.
Probably there is another source for the elven corpse group ? ..there is no necromancer tower to discover

No, that is almost certainly a necromancer tower - it just gets labelled as a "Dwarven Tower" because the necromancer happens to be a dwarf.
All the necromancer towers in my world have the same confusing naming scheme. I think the ones which have been conquered by non-necromancers become grey instead of purple, although I could be wrong on that.
Anyway, I don't see any other towers on your map, and as far as I know towers are the only source of necromancer sieges.

EDIT: If you move your cursor over the tower does it display "war" underneath the name and site government information?

The origin of the necromancer is a human, dwarf and  animal people
Its by the I and the surrounding evil region you know that, a necromancer tower is involved

There is also a grey I as you mention

Yes, its shows "war" .. you know now were the enemy then is coming from
In my SIEGE situation right now in the fortress, it is a  elven corpses enemy group what is attacking
The necromancer are derived from humans dwarves civ and  send elves ( Some elven fortresses  are included in the evil region, so that make sense )

Push c again on the map screen for a list of civs your fortress has come into contact with. Think that will list your tower (might be  mistaken). It'll list all the civs human merchants, invaders, kobold thieves and so on have come from (but not the civs of regular visitors).

For future reference, it can be possible to be lucky enough to estabilish trade caravans by sending 1 unarmed dwarf to ask for 1 time-tribute (and hoping they don't start a war over it).

Necromancer sieges can now also come from conquered sites (the purple µ). People have reported getting them even in worlds without any towers built ever.

No, that is almost certainly a necromancer tower - it just gets labelled as a "Dwarven Tower" because the necromancer happens to be a dwarf.
Small correction: Happens to come from dwarven civilization. There can be elven and goblin towers thanks to this. @janamdo: This is possible because civilizations can have multiple races in them; the "main" one can even be minority sometimes.

The worldmap with cursor shows on I (necro)  the site government : The gilded Riders civilization
With [c] nothing to read about this  I(necro) civilization, only there was contact with a this Elven land , but there was no agreements with this land ( contact by war then)

The elven corpses group who are now attacking the fortress are taken from that civilization then by a necromancer
