Nanoha's text is a bit interesting in that it does not specify it has to be only our stars. Which fits with Starlight Breaker itself.

Once we can designate stars though, grabbing at least a few spells would prove useful though. As well as some cards which do cost stars.

Alternative suggestion:

Play Mech but hold off on attacking

We'd lose our higher attack card on a paltry wolf, when it's best to serve it to take out a bigger foe. I prefer playing a high health card to start as they have better staying power.

The issue is that gives the other side the advantage. They would just use the lower hp wolf to take her out, and buff the other one up in that case. The Mech can't attack the rabbit on the moon, and no other cards have the power to take it out. Eventually, we would simply end up overrun.

It takes a turn for any card to begin to attack, and right now, we don't have an advantage in taking out high HP cards.

First, you play Ruby, Sniper Scythe Waifu!


You then attack the wolf token with 2 hearts using Magic Rabbit Waifu Allison, and both cards are destroyed! This brings your turn to an end as there are no more actions you can take.

Ruka draws a card. She stops to think for a while...
Ruka then plays the Wolf card!



She then uses Rabbit on the Moon's ability to increase Rabbit on the Moon's hearts by 1, presumably in response to you playing Ruby.

She then ends her turn without declaring any attacks. It is now your turn.

You draw a card, and it is added to your hand spoiler...
You know that her wolf card will actually deal 2 damage instead of 1 in combat while the wolf token is in play.
