We're at 12/12 with Naturegirl (age 20) and BBBence (age 908) on the wait list. Update when I sober up, or possibly sooner.

Join as Dewra Goddess of Water. Create a realm of water filled with aquatic creatures.
(this is allowed, right? If not, I can change my action)

Nature girl you should probably change to a life god or something, their already a god of the sea, and maybe it would increase your chances of joining idk

I was considering branching into life next turn or so.

Sun = source of all life, etc.

I kinda resigned myself to doing all the boring stuff in God creation so other players can do the exciting stuff.

You could have done something more out-there if you wanted to.

Cosmos, Turn 1

Shadowclaw777
X’arilyg, God of Shadows

Quote
The first action of this god is to create the elemental plane of the Realm of Shadows, an abstraction of light, it is the reflection of all things especially of the Material Realm. A landless cascade of darkened shadows and a sprawl of pure blackness.

The first of the Thoughts names itself X'arilyg. Inspired by the infinity of void already around him, he creates the Realm of Shadows, a similar world of his own, and revels and loves the darkness. X'arilyg has gained the Shadow domain (+1).

Yilr-Gax, God of Light

Quote
The first action of this god is to create the Sun - my personification in the physical realm, as it will be known to the inhabitants of this world.  A beautiful, golden-white orb of Purity and Holiness.  No Evil Thing may thrive under my watchful eye, for the rays will burn and sear away at the Wicked.  For those who are Righteous and Pure, the sun will provide Warmth and Peace.
Yilr-Gax is directly opposed to X'arilyg.

The next of the thoughts which rises to action names itself Yilr-Gax, for the Thoughts have not yet thought to make their names pronounceable, and covet greatly the letters X and Y. Yilr-Gax creates the Sun, and the void is pierced with light. All of the Thoughts see Light brighter than their own, and the black void is awash with light. In the distance the light grows dimmer, and there X'arilyg hides his Realm of Shadows for himself. Yilr-Gax is not content merely to make the light: He declares to the other Thoughts, "All that is Light is Righteous and Pure, Good and Holy. All that is in Darkness still is Evil, and will not know peace. Join in the warmth of my light, or be burned and seared away." He sense the space around him, and sees that X'arilyg is missing.
Yilr-Gax has gained the Light domain (+1).

Acter Nobody, God of Improvement

Quote
My first action is to create the Eternal Engine, an elemental ("elemental") plane of metal and electricity, steam and crystal. While the surface primarily resembles a desert made of metal with occasional lakes and seas of oil and floating clouds of crystal sparking with electricity, there are areas where great chasms tear through the ground, revealing that below, there is a seemingly-endless system of gears, driven by steam engines. Throughout the plane, their is an omnipresent and perfectly consistent ticking sound.

Another Thought names itself Acter Nobody, and creates a more esoteric realm for itself, conjuring a metallic desert with lakes of oil. [1d6:3] He sets then to fill this world with energy: crystals float in clouds of tiny shards, and electricity sparkles between them and the ground. His Plane is infinite, but also in a place where the light of Yilr-Gax's Sun touches, providing energy and light, and some of the lakes boil with steam. This work done, he plans next to set about conjuring these materials into gears and engines, though he has not done so yet.
Acter Nobody has gained the Mechanical domain (+1).

Kilojoule Proton
Mahar, God of Stone

Quote
Mahar's first act is to create a great disc of stone orbiting Yilr-Gax's Sun. The disc is far from perfectly smooth or of a well-defined composition; parts of its surface are rough and covered in peaks and valleys, while others are smooth and nearly flat, and some parts are made up of basalts while others are granites. Mahar watches and waits for what improvements the other gods may effect on this disc, the Black Slate.

One of the Thoughts names itself Mahar, and is awakened by Yilr-Gax's light. Seeing what radiates from the glowing orb, Mahar creates a material to capture the warmth spilling off of it: Stone. He erects it into a great disc, and casts it spinning into orbit of the Sun's great gravity. The Black Slate, which he calls his work for now, is made of many various kinds of stone, cold on the center and warmed by the Sun. It is uneven, having rigid mountains and deep valleys which hide shadows. Its traveling around the sun, one "year", provides a measure of time. As it goes, certain part of the Black Slate are hidden from the sun and become icy cold, while others are so hot as to be almost molten, and then they trade places through the year. He thinks towards the other Thoughts, and the other Thoughts hear him thinking that he would like them to improve the Black Slate with their own marks.
Mahar has gained the Stone domain (+1).

Powder Miner
La Chaleur, the god of the Hearth

Quote
La Chaleur creates the Wind of the Hearth, which is a massive space cloud and in turn the core of the La Chaleur's divine form (or at least that’s the intent). It wanders the material plane in a fixed pattern, and thusly only affects the Black Slate part of the time, for periods that are sections of the year — but it travels to every object in the Material Plane that wil not destroy it. The Wind of the Hearth is inherently something of healing and warmth and comfort, affecting all that it covers with these things, even those the Sun spites.

Another Thought, awakened by the noise of other Thoughts, declares itself La Chaleur, and casts about itself a cloud of wind and air in the void. La Chaleur begins then to travel the void, visiting the sun and the Black Slate, as well as the Realms of Shadows and the future site of Acter Nobody's Eternal Engine. Those places are not somewhere that can be traveled to in a line from each other, but it is the way of Thoughts to Think that they would like to be somewhere and then they are there. La Chaleur plans, too, to visit anywhere else interesting to see, when it is created.
La Chaleur has gained the Air domain (+1).

DolosusDoleus
Neheb, God of the Seas

Quote
My first action is to create Iavodell, the great sea that connects the material realm to the other planes of existence. At the moment it does little more than connect the planes together, but as it's waters approach each of the planes they begin to take on a similar form. For example, the closer the waters are to the Realm of Shadows the darker and more opaque they become, but as they approach the Eternal Engine they begin to crackle with electricity and energy.

One Thought names itself Neheb, and thinks to itself, that it would like to be able to travel easily from one plane to the next. So, first it fills the void with its own substance, Water, and then it wills the water into the other places. [1d6:4] With great effort the waters creep into every corner: near the Sun they boil away leaving only thin steam, and near every other realm they slowly take the aspect of the other realm until they are water no more but instead part of that realm's normal material. Now, the void is full of thick water which clouds the light of the Sun, making it dark in the distance. What's more, the Realm of Shadows and the realm of Nobody's Eternal Engine are connected directly with the Black Slate and Sun at the center. La Chaleur's cloud of gas is rendered as bubble in the vast waters. This slows La Chaleur's movement, but he also finds that the way is shorter. Nehebs thinks out loud that this water will be named Iavodell.
Neheb has gained the Water domain (+1).

Thanik
Attaein, God of Truth

Quote
His first action is to create the Erdanous, the Worldmind, which exists as an endless plane woven from his very essence. Through it, the weblink of minds and thoughts that will doubtless fill the material world all pass through, forming the substance of this realm and, as such, himself. It is here that the truths of existence, in all their possible forms, shall erupt from the luminous strings of his very being. This weblink permeates beyond his body through the Iavodell and, in turn, all the realms - each bearing their own branching string of That Which Is within the Worldmind. For now the web is sparse - the only strings reaching across its empty expanse bearing the light of divine presence and their realms.

Seeing the Iavodell stretch between realms, a Thought named Attaein decides that rather than travel to each realm, he could be in every realm at once and see all that there is to see. First, he creates his own realm, Erdanous. [1d6:6] From Erdanous he creates more minds, each like his own but much smaller, and they grow their strings out into the other realms. Threads of the Weblink from Erdanous stretch into the Eternal Engine, the Shadow, the Black Slate, and as close as they can to the Sun without getting burned. Tiny, delicate, silvery strings stretch through the Iavodell, and they think their own thoughts which only Attaein hears, telling him all that they see. Those visions Attaein knows are real, so the name assigned to them is Truth.
Attaein has gained the Truth domain (+1).

Kot
Dleifrag, God of Curiosity

Quote
Create the Plane of Chaos, constantly shifting and changing plane where elements float in space randomly colliding with each other, and where anything is possible, provided one has strong enough will to bend the Chaos to his will. It's only truly static part is known as the Moon. It's a circular area (possibly made out of cheese), filled with craters and ravines, which links to material world with a round portal, that's orbiting roughly at L2 point of Sun-Blank Slate system. The size and location of the portal makes it look like an actual moon. The chaotic nature of the plane itself will provide adequate chance of discovering new things, and the Moon will pose questions such as "what's on the other side?" or "is it really made out of cheese?" to anyone who finds the spark of curiosity within themselves, hopefully being a driving force for them.

Dleifrag decides to create the Plane of Chaos, from the elements he can see already and maybe more as they appear: Light, Shadow, Water, Stone, Air. Inside all of these things bounce and collide, and there is a definite way through the Iavodell, a window which orbits the Black Slate. From the view of the Slate, this window shows the elements through it as if they were physically nearby, in a small circular shape. [1d6:1] So far, though, he cannot manipulate the other Thoughts, and nothing about this realm causes others to be drawn towards it with the same curiosity that Dleifrag feels when he looks upon the vastness of the universe and the things in it.
Dleifrag has gained the Chaos domain (+1).

LovecraftianFairyTale
Xein’Shaan, God of Struggle

Quote
Xein will first create the Plane of Conflict, a barren wasteland with a mind and ambition of its own. The Plane of Conflict will constantly move around, occasionally colliding with other Planes. When this happens, The Plane of Conflict will start exhibiting some of the traits of the Plane that it collided with. For example, colliding with the Realm of Shadows results in The Plane of Conflict getting darker, colliding with the Eternal Engine gives it some mechanical properties, etc. Any sentient being who finds themself on The Plane of Conflict will begin to feel overwhelming greed and envy towards anything they lay their eyes on.

A thought which calls itself Xein'Shaan is jealous when looking upon what was created, and so makes the Plane of Conflict, a Plane which will take the aspect of other planes for itself. [1d6:3] It collides first with the site of the Eternal Engine, and takes on a facsimile of its metal ground and electric crystals. [1d6:3] When Xein bids it to move, he finds that a force of magnetism causes it to stay there, and he does not succeed and bringing it collide with another realm for now. [1d6:5] He does, however, enact his will so thoroughly on his own realm that it evokes greed and envy in other minds which visit here. When a silvery thread of the Webmind grows its way into Xein's realm, it too takes on this aspect, and shouts greed and envy back to Erdanous...
Xein'Shaan has gained the Greed domain (+1)

Leonardo8
Megiddo, God of monsters

Quote
My first act will be to create Goladrath,  the World-Turtle. Her shell is as big as a planet, her scales as impenetrable as adamantium and her ponderous minds reasons at geological pace She likes to wander around in the universe, though she rarely strays too far from the Sun and prefers to avoid the oily waters of the Eternal Engine.

One Thought names itself Megiddo, and creates a living thing beside itself. Goladrath, the World-Turtle, is about as large as the Black Slate and swims through the Iavodell, basking in the warm waters around the Sun. Her mind is deep and impenetrable by the Webmind's threads, but slow and inscrutable even the Megiddo. [1d6:2] However Megiddo did not think what energy might sustain her, for such a beast cannot live on sun alone. Goladrath takes a massive bite out of the Black Slate, and consumes it, before swimming on. In time she will hunger again.
Megiddo has gained the Monster domain (+1).

TricMagic
『 』, Kūhaku, God of Nothing
This must be the work of an enemy 『STAND』
Quote
Kūhaku will first create Nothing, the endless void plane into which all things will eventually fall to ruin and disappear. Though perhaps those may play a game to regain what was once lost, for the God of Nothing has but one joy, that of games and failure and success.

One Thought thinks beyond the humble un-accented alphabet and names itself Kūhaku, when it must identify itself to the others, but prefers not to be referred to by a name. Seeing that the Void is gone and replaced by the Iavodell, Nothing creates the realm of Nothing, an endless void where things which disappear are. [1d6:3] All realms are infinite, but this one is also very small, for much of its infinity is touched by the Iavodell's brightly lit waters. Within it, a bitten and chewed chunk of the Black Slate's stone appears.
Kūhaku has gained the Nothing domain (+1).

Chiper9
Morrak, God of Death

Quote
My first action to create The Perpetual Mausoleum, a plane of the dead, which wraps around all realms. The realm currently is made of endless rolling hills dividing the realm into countless valleys and at the center of each one lays an empty temple waiting to be dedicated to those that have met their end.

The last thought to act names itself Morrak. Though slow to make its mark, it watches carefully all that transpires between the other Thoughts. As Morrak sees Goladrath, the World Turtle, be created, Morrak predicts that Goladrath or some other life will eventually be destroyed. In Morrak's plane, there is a place for them, of rolling hills and valleys of stone and square temples which will be the place of ended life.
Morrak has gained the Death domain (+1).

The Universe Now...

There are many planes, and the space between them is the Iorvadell, an expanse of water which connects all things. At the center there is the Sun which creates Light, and around it orbits the Black Slate, a disc of stone with a chunk missing. The World Turtle orbits as well, having eaten a chunk of the Black Slate. Around the Black Slate is the way to the Chaos realm, which orbits like a moon. Things that are destroyed go to the Nothing, and things that are dead go to Morrak's Perpetual Mausoleum, and it remains to be seen what will happen when both realms try to lay claim to a thing. Besides the Iavodell connecting all worlds, the Webmind of Attaein spans is silvery threads to all places and sees the things in them. One of those places is the Plane of Conflict, which has taken on the aspect of the Eternal Engine's metal and oil and electrical crystals. There, the Webmind is turned to the greed and envy of that place, and that thread of the webmind shouts its greed and envy all the way back to its origin in Erdanous.

From Outside of this place, there are two more Thoughts, waiting to get in, banging on the walls, and Thinking, but not loud enough to be heard clearly through the barrier. If two Thoughts worked together, they could bring one of these new Thoughts through and into the universe...

La Chaleur looked out upon the cosmos, and though it could travel freely between them (now, as a bubble) it felt a very distinct of satisfaction. It was of air, but little more, certainly not of the Hearth. To be that which it was, or rather to be that which it should be, it would have to take action. And so, perhaps extremely blatantly reaching out in order to try to get a second domain, La Chaleur busied itself with making a plane of its own, a Plane of Fire. This Plane of Fire would surely sear any corporeal form that tried to enter it (after all, one does not exactly stick their hand into a fireplace), but things that connected to it would instead feel the warmth and invigoration and energy that fire also provides -- a benevolent Plane of Fire, connected to a strand of the Webmind.

[X] La Chaleur tries to create a benevolent Plane of Fire, one that will still burn you if you're in it, but which provides vigor and warmth to those merely drawing from it.

Just wondering, why was my thing considered a hard action? I thought those were only the ones that tried to affect other peoples' things.

Regardless, let's get the Engine finished up.

[X] In order to set the Engine to how he envisioned it, Acter forms its rifts and canyons filled with cogwork and steam engines. Now that he doesn't need to focus on the creation of the realm itself, however, he also creates large spires of crystal throughout its landscape, crackling with lightning; where two are near each other, and when the crystal clouds approach them, electricity arcs between them and thunder roars.

X’arilyg refers to the Realm of Shadows as now as the Shadowfel, and sees a world of light and the thought is like a metaphorical fish in the hadopelagic zone, afraid of the light, enforced its thoughts for protection for its only goal is to exist and survive. The Iavodell allowed for a watery source of protection to the great Sun to the world of darkness. X’arilyg energizes energy into the form of a massive circular shape and it starts to consumes the water and light, growing.

[X] X’arilyg renames the Realm of Shadows to the Shadowfel and utilizes it’s second action to create the Everconsuming Black Hole rivlaling the Sun itself in its mass and size a shield of a mass of dark energy that orbits around the plane of shadow edges, that consumes and absorbs water from Iavodell and light from the Sun, and then transfer these energies into the plane of shadow, making slowly but surely growing in mass. However it is only a cosmic entity that hasn’t sentience, its goal of creation to protect the Shadowfel from things that try to destroy its plane, it is only considered a sentinel of shadows.

On the Second Day, Yilr-Gax sets aside a place to work.

[X] At the center of the sun, Yilr-Gax creates the cosmic Starforge, a place to make easy the task of creation.  All manner of tools may be found here, as well as a never-ending supply of raw materials.  Time flows strangely here in the center of the star, but any being with the means to come here and the will to create may use the Starforge. The forge provides the tools for structured creation of any scale; from the Grand Divinity of the cosmos to the humblest horseshoe.

The forge is heated directly off the sun itself, and the creations are quenched in the waters of the Lavodell.

Yilr-Gax invites other Gods to use the forge, should they so wish.

[X] Mahar creates the Elemental Plane of Stone, a seemingly endless space filled with various minerals, from boring stone to rich ores and even native metal, and sprinkled with a few cavities. Its most ore-rich reaches are likely adjacent to the Engine, while its most hollow spaces are likely adjacent to the Plane of Shadow or Nothing. It is possible but not certain that the Perpetual Mausoleum is also adjacent to this plane; in any case, there do not appear to be living creatures to die and populate the Mausoleum at the moment. The barriers between the Material Realm and the Plane of Stone grow weaker with depth in the Black Slate.

[X] Xein decides to give the Plane of Conflict a limited form of sentience, but only one emotion: Anger. Anger for anything that isn’t itself. He gives the Plane of Conflict the ability to move by itself, it’s own hatred propelling it towards anything and everything it can percieve. Lastly, to ecourage the Plane of Conflict, he throws it at one of the other Planes (one that isn’t the Sun).

Well i did create the first lifeform already, but i am happy to leave the ordinaries lifeforms to you. I think i'll stay specialized in Monsters, though maybe i'll eventually branch out on wilderness and chaos, or maybe freedom.

[X]Megiddo looked at his creation and he was satisfied. In the aeons to come, it would always be remembered that it was he, Megiddo, that created the first living being. But he knew that its hunger could cause problems with the other gods, and he did not feel ready to start a rivalry just yet. "It is time to expand this cosmic ecosystem" he tought out loud. So he set out to create the Heliomantas. These massive manta rays were humongous, but not quite as big as Goladrath. Where the turtle was a planet, the heliomantas were more like moons. They basked in the sun's glow, living off its energy and charging their wings with solar power. Then they wandered, being almost like little suns onto themselves, frolicking in the vast deepness of Iavodell, until hunger made them come to the sun again. Only the Shadowfel was never touched by their glowing wings, protected as it was by the Everconsuming Black hole. But the Heliomantas were not only the first true species to appear in the universe, they were also the first being to ever die. Though their lifespan was as immense as their bodies, eventually even they would grow old, becoming more and more sedentaries until their wings could not sustain them anymore. Their massive bodies would float in the Iavodell, especially near the sun, becoming easy pickings for Goladrath's hunger and starting to fill the cosmos with solid objects.
