The Global Directors Rulership thing is to allow the Global Directors to have some "minions/assistants" to, well, direct.

I was thinking that willing guest players would be able to help GDs. Guest players could help GDs draft proposals, handle clerical work, and otherwise take part in the game under the supervision of the Global Directors.

If a GD has an idea for a proposal but is having difficulties drafting it then they could ask their guest players.

Or something.

Oh, and if a Global Director leaves the game then an underling could inherit their position.

I think we should come up with a better thing to call guests. I was thinking something like citizen, cadet, or recruit. Thoughts?

The idea is that non-GDs would be part of the game, just at a different level of it.

There would be castes, so to speak, but there would be ways to change. Just because the six GD slots are full it doesn't mean that others can't join the game or advance through it.

If the Global Director rule gets passed, and it looks like it will, then I would like to ask that my fellow members do not select titles for themselves that are too ostentatious or derogatory.

I'm personally aiming for something simple like GD-1 "Clockwork".

That sounds like a good idea. I meant that they didn't indicate a hierarchy or anything though.

I think that having a thread for it would be wise.

It occurs to me that perhaps our "titles" should be relevant to our niches in the game but it shouldn't be a mandatory naming convention.

Proposal: All proposals must be given a concise title by their proposer for referential purposes.

For example:

Proposal name: Proposal titles
Proposal: All proposals must be given a concise title by their proposer for referential purposes.

This is to give us a name to work with instead of having to describe proposals in order to refer to them.
