As for Bay12 Mafia, I'd say read some games in the Notable Games Archive, but most of the folks here aren't really Mafia vets here, so I have no idea what this game will be like. I know I've played with 4mask and Superdorf before (and maybe NJW), but that's about it.

Maybe read Kingmaker 4 for an idea of what not to do.

After the first 24 hours of a day, a player is immediately lynched ("hammered") if a 60% majority of possible votes are on them.

This also immediately ends the day.

Wait, I thought that the condition to lynch someone was if they have the most votes?

Yes.  At the end of the day, whoever has the most votes (a plurality) on them is lynched.  However, if someone gets the majority of the votes, the day ends instantly with that person being lynched, regardless of how much time is left in the day.
