This RTD is complicated, and I don’t want to risk messing it up, I’m thinking of “simplifying” it by having the characters enter a portal I spawned via a 6 some turns ago, transporting them to a ne world, a Minimalist world

Bring characters to Mininalist World (character sheets no longer required, forms not set, memories intact, complete minimalist, but the story continues)
- 0 (0%)
Bring characters through, but the portal deletes their memories and they have to start anew, new for,s made, new memories forged
- 3 (50%)
Bring characters through, memories of themselves and goals deleted, memories of this world remain
- 1 (16.7%)
Other(PM me the suggestion you wish)
- 1 (16.7%)
Start completely fresh, the portal envelops everything and rearranges itself into a new universe
- 1 (16.7%)
Continue the indefinite wait

You've missed my action; it's on the sixth page of the thread, if you're using 10 posts per page.

Much less active than I used to be on these forums, but I still visit them on occasion. Will probably resume my activity in full once Dwarf Fortress will be released on Steam.

Cut some meat from moose's carcass, then run away to my Siberian hut.
Smoke the meat, then eat it.

You successfully cut the meat, take it to your hut, smoke it, and eat it. It’s very filling. You are 4/4 full right now

start searching for the mythical firebird.
You fly your train around for a while and eventually find it, flying above the clouds. You begin flying towards it without drawing attention to yourself

wonder how a giant train can hide from a glowing bird.

Keep following to it's nest and try to use magic to capture any feather it loses while flying.

Go back and eat the other half of that bear I killed, while keeping an eye out for other prey.

You think about how the bird hasn’t noticed you. It’s because you are flying behind it so it can’t see you
1
You try to follow it to its nest, but it flies to the stars. You try to follow it into space, but it seems the flying spell you are using works by making the train run on air, which space doesn’t have much of. It looks like you need a way to travel through space. Also no feathers were dropped on earth, they are floating in space though, but they aren’t falling towards you

Go back and eat the other half of that bear I killed, while keeping an eye out for other prey.

Spoiler: Scotty (click to show/hide)
You eat the other half of the bear you killed, bringing you to 1/4 hunger. To the left of you, you notice a tunnel you haven’t seen before, and you smell animals inside the tunnel, but it’s a bit small for you to enter

You successfully establish communications. ”Hello, Titus, your dropped seems to have exploded on an unknown planet. Were you attacked? Did you find any evil entities?

Your spell works. You manage to get 3 feathers before needing to head back to Earth to refuel
