You declare that one part of the Army will be under command of the Marshal, the other under command of Duke Oro, the man behind the plan.
Your husband seems dejected (if not a bit hurt), but the court nods in approval of your wise choice.
425 AEC, Late Winter
You lay in the bed for the third hour in the row, staring at the dark ceiling of the bedroom. Suddenly, your husband, who was sleeping - or so you believe - stirs and turns to look at the ceiling as well.
"Is this love, Arina?" Gabrrel asks. "Or are we doing this out of marriage obligations and adherence to the faith?" You consider what to say to him.
Tails
You're not sure if you care to answer, though.
You say nothing, and soon he turns back to his side of the bed.
425 AEC, End of the Year
You stare outside and don't notice when the Advisor enters the room for a while.
"Your Majesty?" You notice his presence when he lays down the Scrolls of Kingdom Status on your desk. "Here are the scrolls."
Happiness: 4
Population: 4
Economy: 5
Army: 4
*Navy: 4
These are good numbers, and nothing there is to help these in any way.
426 AEC, Spring
With some trumpeting going about the capital, the Marshal and Duke Oro leave the city walls to fulfill the most holy mission of reconquering Aroserema for you and Kingdom of Kastoria! You and your husband watch them from the high tower of your palace, your hand gently patting your belly that has begun to swell once again.
The levies gathered by your nobles have bolstered the numbers of the Army to twelve thousand, split into two forces of six thousand men each.
426 AEC, Mid-Spring
Great news arrive from the front!
Not only have the navies of Maestrimar are nowhere to be found, the military strength of Aroserema is grossly inadequate to deal with your invasion. Martin Gurpilla have managed to raise only four thousand men, most of them militia. It seems that he haven't had enough cash to procure more men despite the conflict being inevitable from the start.
The first battle against Martin's forces was a great victory, and half of his men were sent to the House of the Father, while your casualties were negligible.
426 AEC, Late Spring
Good news from Aroserema arrive daily; Martin Gurpilla was slain and his supporters have barricaded themselves up in their capital city (his son Nil is said to have disappeared). The forces led by Duke Oro have captured several important keeps in the western half of the rebel territory.
426 AEC, Summer
Sieges in Aroserema continue.
It seems that the trade in clothes between Xane-Peon and Albarra have begun to be directed through your lands. Whilst Xane-Peonians are your friends, the Albarrans are not.
"We could do the Albarrans some economical harm by putting a tax upon their merchants traveling to Xane-Peon through Kastoria, your Majesty." Says Count Pirijo, one of the Treasurer's friends.
A) "A one-time tax will put them in check and fill our Treasury in the same time. It's a good idea!"
B) "That will only make us some enemies and their merchants will take to the sea. I won't do this."
