The miners send a report - the first tunnels are being dug out and the whole enterprise should start bringing profits somewhere next Autumn or so.

The crops are ruined along with cereals, and even some cattle was killed by the heavenly ice. Villages and towns from all around Kastoria send in reports, and after reading through some of them it is evident to you that your people will suffer starvation if you do not secure grain.
