I say we make more archers out of the remaining unused manpower, and go after the small clan to the east and try to pick off their troops instead of going after all of them at the same time.

We should offer them a chance to become our splinter clan or whatever that partial vassalage thing is.

If we want to go that route, we should offer a joint raid on our southern neighbors.

See if we can afford any pop growth infrastructure.
Integrate the prisoners.

You have the prisoners integrated, your advisers inform you that you can set policies for anything. You then hire 2 squads of mounted archers using 1 gold. Then you ask you advisers what you could build to increase pop growth, after much deliberation the easiest to do right now would be to commission airag producers. You think for a moment that drinking spirits definitely makes high brain function hard, you momentarily wonder where that thought came from and shrug it off, you order them commissioned; pop growth changed to 1/90 for 50 gold, next modifier will cost 100 gold.

After your administration duties are done, you then head out with your troops to the east to harass the clan in the east. Over the next couple of months small skirmishes happen where there are losses on both sides 18 enemy troops killed, 12 of your troops die and 8 horses are lost. Your scouts report that they seem to have the manpower to replenish the losses. Unhappy with this report you return home and replenish your own losses.

Make more children

Threaten the two tribes we raided earlier that if they don’t become our vassals we will raid them again.

Raid them if they don’t comply.

You spend some extra time with your wife before riding out with with you troops to the west. When you get to the first tribe you send an envoy to offer them vassalage or to be raided again. Your envoy returns to you with their reply: "Tho it grieves me deeply to submit to a heathen horse lord, for the good of my people the Nitrim tribe will swear fealty to you." He also sent 10 gold as tribute. After the success of that one you go to the next and demand the same. They respond: "The Bilop tribe willing submit to you." He sends 10 gold as tribute.

With those successes you return home. Your wife does not report being pregnant or that you have a new born. Maybe it is time to take a concubine or two. Your advisers inform you that with these tribes submitting it might behoove you to move the clan closer to the west, to keep a better eye on them as well as open up new raiding opportunities within a years ride.

Lets get some concubines,
Pft! Our wife is yet young, and she already bore one child so we know the devils haven't cursed her womb.

move the clan to the west.

You contemplate getting concubines, realizing that your wife is still young and has already given you a son, albeit years ago, you decide to hold off on getting concubines, for now. You move the clan westward to within a months ride of the Nitrim tribe. Your faith in your wife has paid off, she gave birth to another son.

Santoo isn't a bad name actually, alternatively Theodoric is also nice.

Take the Nitrim troops with us to the small clan in the East and subjugate them. They clearly need strong leadership.
