What should we do with the game now that my own interest is waning?

Keep the game as it is now; do what you do best and make people happy even if it's not something you're super into.
Put it on pause; bring it back when you're NOT also juggling Wiki-Warfare and your fanfics and any other projects.
Retool the game as a deathmatch; you yourself said you're more interested in them and are better suited to DMing those.

So, this is back.

While Abyss of Traditions is on indefinite (though temporary!) hiatus, I thought it'd be nice to run a game parallel to Wiki-Warfare: Virtual Mortality v1.1, and in keeping with the theme of revitalizing old ideas, memory lane punched me in the face and reminded me that Chaos Chronicles existed.

The rules of these Chronicles is simple: characters are randomly generated with each piece of them divided into fragments that are then reassembled. As an example, Forum Goer X could submit a name, while Forum Goer Y submits a race, then Forum Goer Z submits the weaponry they use, but all of that goes to Forum Goer A's character. The fun is getting a completely unexpected character and doing wonderful things with them. Of course, you are allowed to re-roll the aspects you don't like. Say you got your character is a Race: Vampire, but you don't want to burn up in the sun. You can indeed re-roll this into another species. That species may be Race: Werewolf, but it's there. You have a limited number of re-rolls, use it well. What should make this game fresh is that I'm changing things around to make it more accessible.

Spoiler: Changes (click to show/hide)

If this interests you, then join in! In addition to playing, you can also send in fragments via PM, wanna make that clear, to the massive pool of them I still have left over from the first game. Once enough players join in, I'll shove all the ideas I have for plots in the same randomizer and come up with a good story that adjusts to all the different things people have. Enjoy. :D

Hmm, okay, I'll take these, but I again want to make it clear that I'd like these things in PMs, as that produces less clutter and keeps it all in one place.

But yeah, these are fine! I will divide some of them up into separate things, like make multiple Positive and Negative Traits instead of the bigger list as presented, but I don't mind the actual contents of them!

Oh my gosh is this a rehash of Zenith Concert? I'm going to have to play this. Just as soon as I actually read it.

Technically it's the resurrection of the pre-existing rehash.  :P

Well, I'm really interested in joining this, but I don't really have the time to make the fragments tonight.

That's fine! You don't have to submit Fragments immediately, or even at all. You can just join in, and if you wanna do Fragments, you can send some when you have time.

I'll go ahead and add you to the player list.

And that makes six! Wicked! I'll write up the sheets sometime tomorrow after a grace period to see if Failbird still wants to submit some Fragments.

Is it okay for certain fragments to over-ride(at least partially) other fragments? Mainly race doing the over-riding specifically.

Indeed! It is already possible for Race to override Appearance in some ways, and I was thinking about a system where one Fragment determines what another one is. A Linked Fragment, if you would.

So yes! That's perfectly fine, at least partially. I want to save whole overrides until I actually make a judgement call on Linked Fragments.

Also, I have opened the Waitlist! Probably should've done that at the start, but it slipped my mind.

Alright, and can we;
A. Submit multiple of a type of fragment
B. Submit some fragments but not all of them?

A: Yes! In fact, Supernerd did five per category! As in, five names, five races, etc.
B: You can indeed pick and choose. You don't need to have something in every single category.
