Altheros continues exploring the area around the ship

Riisi waved. "Got to go in ruins! Ozher ship people in zhere, maybe even not-dead ones!" it said, bounding towards there for a bit, then stopping to look at the rest of the rescuers, knowing there wasn't much Riisi could do alone. "Maybe money too? Zhey gotta have shiny zhings!" Sure, they probably would have thrown Riisi overboard if they found the little stowaway, but Riisi wouldn't wish any harm on them!

The immediate area was broadly speaking dirt and debris. Stella notes the absence of darkwood in the design. The wood seemed very light, no heavier than a haybale the same size, but hard as oak. She also doesn't see and dragonshard debris, as if none of the ship sections here had any arcane devices in them.

Sormias would find none of that stranger than anything else, and nothing of note in the immediate area.

The ship loomed ahead, it's hull upside-down against a rock face. Sections were missing or collapsed, but a door was visible.

"Patience. These creatures may have known of our approach and made preparations to stop us."

Fyodor shall go up to the door, checking it over, seeing if it's trapped. Or broken. Or basically messed up in any way.

Fyodor discerns that at some point, a man was stabbed up against this door. Not recently, though, but sometime within the last few years. They painted over the stains, which tells you that cleansing magic was not used in ship repair. The hinges seem to have recently been oiled with a mixture that smells pre-industrial. Fyodor would expect that the knob might be a bit loose from the impact.

Structurally, it is intact.

Dullahan nodded, heading for the ship with the little ratbird thing. "I somehow doubt they'd have trapped ruins. If there are people trapped inside though, it would be better to get them sooner than later." He'd pause when Fyodor started checking the door, turning towards Riisi. "You did well by the way. Both in warning us, and in the fight as well."

"The door is clear. We should proceed, lest these scum make an escape."

Riisi beamed at Sormias. "I'm a Yinglet! My friends call me Riisi. Zhe crew of zhis ship call me zat-damn-stowaway!" It seemed the large tooth at the front of the creature's maw gave it an unusual lisp, hence the seeming difficulty with words that contain a "th".

"This ship lacks advanced materials. There are three possibilities that I can determine: This civilization is not very technologically advanced, this ship was constructed inexpensively, or it has been thoroughly looted of all its useful components." She then studies Rilsi for a moment. "What was this ship's purpose, and what caused its destruction?"

Atil looked around the battle, half to see if any of the flesh that was left, was worth the time to eat, and half just curious about what had happened here.
