I get a quest to kill this Roc. Got it. Lemme just check his name...Oh! Rockbristles! That's the name of the roc I caught in a cage trap and put at the bottom of my old fortress! Piece o' cake. If I just get to him, I can just stab him through the cage or activate the lever I had to cave in that section of the fort. Unfortunately, I can't even get close to my fort because the HFS I released is now roaming the land

Or you can roleplay this in a fun way. A quest to delve deep into the heart of an ancient fortress to slay the Foul Sorcerer Rockbristles, whose arcane abominations patrol the lands and have ever since the peoples of that fortress foolishly took him to the heart of their sanctum. Hell, this could be your adventurer's main storyline. Gather a strike force to free the land from this foul blight, in the name of all that is holy and right!

There ya' go. Fortress is in the bottom left, roc is many many z-levels below the surface with a cave-in trap over his head, so be careful which levers you flip
