Quick note on how shops work:

Since I am a person and not a computer, throwing up randomly generated loot for the shops seems silly. If you want to buy or sell something, if it specific or general ("A .44 Revolver" works, so does "a new gun"), just say what you are looking for and I'll tell you if they have it/what they have.

Since this is the first town, the shops won't have anything good :V. Loot will update once the battle is over and you level up sufficiently.

Now that I think about it, I probably should have rolled Speech instead of Charisma or Int.

Which Edgar autofails anyway >_>.

Also edit, I should really update much earlier in the day. Preferably that brief period I am fully awake.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to abandon Edgar and create a new character since apparently everyone decides to ignore how the tribal attacked first. Also, sometimes speech checks use intelligence and not charisma. A few times even preception, if I remember correctly. I had aimed to the groin since that would do the least damage, but maybe it would have been better to just have aimed to the eyes and let the guy die.

EDIT: If I wasn't clear, I'm abandoning Edgar since he's now doomed and might make another character later. Can't play a luck character like him with someone having jinxed because it ruins his whole build and makes him useless.

Not really? If anything you should be the one with Jinxed. Jinxed builds require high luck and accuracy to work, so Edgar is the one least effected by it. It doesn't lower your accuracy, it doesn't reduce your critical hits. It requires missing to activate, and having high luck removes the worst effects from the pool (With luck 10, you remove the "weapon is destroyed" and "hit the wrong target" critical effects for small guns).

You could make up a new character if you want, but they would either be mechanically similar or worse against jinxed than Edgar is making it a pointless exercise >_>

Edit: And sure they are, but they have to have an actual reason to. Not just arbitrarily using your higher stat :V. Usually it is a "knowledge" roll, not to convince people of things.
