Damnit people, this is why I said to keep the truce. Because now everyone's ganging up on the cats.
Also, don't forget to contact your local Eldritch Being(s), so that they can help with our mission to destroy the universe.

They are gone, then others take their place... The garden changes? It has always been the garden...

Your master shakes his head softly. "I will be gone soon. And there is no one to take my place. I have taught you much, but... there was not enough time. When I am gone, the garden will begin to wither." He leans in close to your face. "Little one... when that happens... you will have to leave this place. To go into the world outside this garden."

"Where shall I go, when you are gone, and the garden withers, and the butterflies I watch now give birth to the butterflies I watch tomorrow? Shall I make a new garden?"

"Where shall I go, when you are gone, and the garden withers, and the butterflies I watch now give birth to the butterflies I watch tomorrow? Shall I make a new garden?"

He laughs. "Perhaps you shall. In truth, I do not know. You shall have to find out for yourself."

The next day, the master did not come out of his room.

A curious feeling comes over you. A gripping, weighty sensation in the pit of your stomach. You wait, but it does not go away, until at last you go into that chamber carved into the garden wall. Your master, slumped, looks up at you. He whispers of things you do not understand, beckoning you closer. "I am sorry... the world out there is... not always as beautiful..." You wonder what he means, but he has not enough time. Instead, he tells you of something he has kept in his room for a long time, one final gift to help you, before the lights on his face fade out...

In a wooden box with a golden frame, we find a magical purple gem. It glows with a strange, magical aura.
