Moving with the flow, you dive through the tear, leaving the pulsing behind and meeting the brightness beyond.

With a thud, your body hits a cold, hard surface. You feel something pull on your cord and you cough a wad of fluid out of your lungs as you take your first ever breath.

The melodic sound is much clearer now, and as you blink your vision comes into focus.

Casting your eyes about, you discover that you are in a stark white room, with various flashing lights and beeping noises. You are lying in a pool of fluid, having just fallen out of a large, deflated sack of some kind. A figure stands over you, wearing a face mask. It seems to be the source of the melody.
