Doesn't disprove Jadis seeking suicide, though. She didn't lie, she just let the other demiurges hear the prophecy and come to their own conclusion.

Out of comic, she pulled the same thing Aesma did and beheld the truth of the universe. Not being a true god, it burned her to a husk, now encased in glass. She's the weakest of the demiurges, has full omniscience, and very truly wants to die.
