I've been wondering about Roomcarnage. The story is on imgur and for some reason it won't work every time I try to download a page. It may have to be done manually. The old thread ends a few months back with the creator talking about archiving it.

It can be done automatically, and I'm in the process of it right now

Edit: It's a lot of images, currently at 3.9 GB and counting, at chapter 57. Which is above the DFFD limit, but I suppose it can be broken into chunks of some dozen chapters each... I'll let that be a problem for tomorrow.

Edit 2: 11.3 GB! The later chapters had a lot more images (which maybe are .mp4 files rather than .gif? they show up fine regardless), so maybe this isn't too too unexpected.

I'm finding that a lot of the threads have missing images or just plain don't have any images. There is also some that use a different file host. Should they still be downloaded?

Well damn I just saw that the peasant dwarf had already been done, having two copies is better than none.
Also turns out Cloudsprite(the peasant dwarf II?) was also done, not to upset about that one since I couldn't figure out how to download the pictures from it.

Pretty sure a few have broken images, though, and I've marked the ones I know have.

I started on doomforests (because I love the tale that was spun there), however I am a bit tech-stupid and soon grew tired of manually performing the backup task. is there any way to easily download a whole thread without totally destroying my tendons? Preferably some kind of program with an editable txt file or command line  I can manipulate to my (ignorant) desires, which are simply to download the entire thread and associated images. .
