You can, but it'll be a small faction inside of a big one. Also, John Joe Johnson said that Plump Helmet Men are equal to the other Roachistanis, not autonomous. It's complicated, as you see, but if you want to do so, go for it.

Yay good point guess I will be part of badassville although quick question am I still allowed to try to take over if wanted or the current leader somehow dies?  cause if I can join badassville if I cant make my own faction lol
