This is a quest RP where you play as a mad scientist super villain in a large group of other super villains. Most choices will be decided upon entirely by the players, and I'm making this up as I go along. Now let us begin!

And here you are, the newest member of the Insidious Syndicate! It was a bit of a hassle, but you've finally managed to move your stuff out of your old apartment into your new room in a building owned by the Insidious Syndicate, disguised as a corporate owned skyscraper to avoid suspicion. They've promised to give you enough funding to get you the supplies you need to create new technologies to be used for their diabolical purposes, and since you proved yourself to be effective in combat in the entrance exam, you'll be doing field work as well. But no matter! The day is young! Evil must be done!

...ahem. But first, we must decide your name and gender. Who are you?

As you put down your briefcase, you look inside it. This is the one that holds your technology, though all you have at the moment besides a few barely functional prototypes is a freeze ray, a consistent laser beam capable of melting steel if given enough time, and a cloaking device. Perhaps you'll be able to get some better weaponry once you start getting a salary exceeding that of a minimum wage worker. In hindsight, it's a wonder that you were able to get this level of tech on your old job. But nevermind that! You notice that your outfit is looking a bit... terrible. White lab coats stain terribly, and your goggles have a crack running down the glass. You heard that there's a tailor who's specialty is making villain outfits on the third floor, perhaps you should submit a new design there?

All right, Karl Genver it is! But now it's time to work on a costume. We could go with the Doctor Horrible look (white labcoat and goggles) or we can go with Funk's suggestion:

What ever kind of mask we get should have flames or some thing similar on it, I think we should keep the lab coat but add stuff to it like epaulets or some thing.

Reading through this, it occurs to me it will take a little bit longer to get an idea of what attire our villain Karl wears. But what I'm getting so far is:

Skull mask with flames painted on it.
Same old lab coat but add flames to it (yes I know he said epaulets but the flames match the mask so...).

What do you think?
