Well, I've begun trying to gen a world with a proper working volcano in an area that will work for most authentic test possible. So far the only ones I've found on land were in a mountain without trees, and one by the ocean with salt water and aquifer. I shall prevail!!!!

Dream of art are "Builders", labor related to mining, stones and mechanic.   
Dream of family are "Peasants", labor for food, leather, clothing, and wood cutters. 
Dream of masterwork are "Workers", are moodable labors. 
Dream of skill are "Comrades", forge labors, hunter (toggle) and military when weapons are available. 
There are rare "no dreams" or "ruling the world" so these would be nobles.

I was reading Kremlin wiki and it mentioned oak logs used early on, and limestones.
So I made bed, cabinet and chest from oak. 
But I found Kaolinite so every block is red.  Using limestones for making steel.

I only posted the idea here. 

It kinda works out ok when I played some more. 
For migrants who arrive with military skills, they are still Builders, Peasants, Workers, and Comrades. 

They are added to the squad, and I use the training schedule, so around 6 will actively train, while 4 can do their labors. 

I look forward to hearing about the GULAG here.

p.s. No potato for me, but I am sticking with Rye beer, and Strawberry wine (for the red color), and I save an apple tree (red) and cut all others.
