Quick assumption - upkeep occurs at end of turn, hero payments at the start of the next, so I won't have (enough) to pay the greedy bastard next turn if my net mana remains the same, right?
Also, another question - can heroes be used on the turn they are hired, or from the next as with armies and summoned units?

And technically speaking I only do the counts simultaneously so only the final 'number' counts v; _{(it's easier that way)}

Is this a permanent first poke warning? Because I had the silly idea of people going 'naaah no mana for you--ok you get paid, nope no mana now! Ok let's pay you nooooow', with a 4 turn timespan there as an example.

Assume that you have one of each 5 Summoned units: a Hellhound (6 upkeep), a Golem (9 upkeep), a Selkie (4 upkeep, an Avian (7 upkeep), and a Thunderwyrm (12 upkeep).

First to disappear will be Thunderwyrm, next turn the Golem, then Avian, then Hellhound, and finally Selkie, until you get Net Mana into positive numbers (or at least to 0).

Also new Turn posted. My mana math was wonky till I remembered that peeps get mana outside Generators, so I had split the + but there might be slight errors, please point out if you notice any.

Oh! Um ._. To clarify, I'm trying to RP my best of a classical/rennaissance attitude, so the laws of chivalry are pretty much burning in my sorceress' blood. Why she mentioned the 'concern' is that you can deny it any time because you have other concerns.

That's how silly I am. Which is why I really dislike FFA type wincons. rawr!
