They... it?... seem to ignore Cyperus for now, and slowly bend over to look at Eva more closely.

As merriment flutters on their ink-marked face, Cyperus twirls like they're trying to show off grace. They nearly land upon their face. "For now I may not fly, but perhaps with a scroll I could take to the sky."

"I- thank you. I'm feel like the smallest among us all," Eva replied. She was particularly at eye-level with the armored chest-piece that shone from the windowlight. "Would you like to come with us? It's going to be a lot better if we all work together. And we'd learn about each other on the way."

It stares down at her without expression for several moments.

[...It accepts. It is called Armis Bellator]

Armis' hands suddenly begin glowing and separate from the rest of its transparent "body". They float around Eva and attempt to pick her up.

Lilly had rather reluctantly been slowly pushed outta the bar by the barkeep and was now plodding along beside the majority of the Group. She quietly looked through her stuff ruffeling through several bag's. Several of which were clearly slit and she jangelled out....3 silver coins with a look of sheer dissapointment.

The jumpsuited figure lifted itself from the seat, hefting the heavy canister with it. He trudged along after the others, the tank clearly weighing him down somewhat.

"Guess I got nothing better to do."

"Haha, what are you guys doing?" Raith says as he hastily jogs back to the rest of the group, having already moved a fair distance away.

"Lets get going already!" He sounds oddly like a little kid on his first outdoors venture, but quickly resumes his original mellow demeanor. "If there's going to be fighting, I suppose that the big suit of armor and I could handle most of that. They seem good at fighting."

Raith looks at the suit of armor. "Is it alright if I just call you Armis?"

After too long, you finally get everything together and set off on the path. An odd lack of conversation occurs during this, but this is probably due to none of you knowing each other.

The journey isn't particularly eventful, as it's only about 20 minutes before you reach the destination. Surprisingly, it doesn't look anything look like the pictures on the poster. What a surprise.

What you actually see in front of you appears to be some sort of temple, ancient yellow bricks forming a stepped pyramid. There are bloodstains at the entrance, along with what appear to be the remains of someone's outdoor excursion. They left an awful lot of fresh meat behind. And all their tents. And their bloody bone collection?

A helpful sign nearby shows an arrow pointing inside the temple. It's written in jam, you think. Trodding over the campfire, you seem to be drawn once more to the temple.

Seems like you don't have much of a choice.

Of course, you could always just ignore this entirely.

Armis stops at the abandoned bone collection, staring down at the discarded (and warm, and wet) pieces with interest?. It picks a notably large bone off of the ground, examines it, then summarily shoves the whole thing inside its chest cavity.

Armis then turns to the others.

[We should enter]

"Nothing stopping us." Raith peers around, poking his head inside the entrance but not entering the temple.

Lilly kinda holds herself quietly looking nervous before nodding.

((I dislike that my browser froze and I had to restart it, and notice that my post was wiped))

Eva furrowed her brow and noticed something. What was once an innocuous idea, was a horrible thing to behold.

"I don't think that was a bounty, given all these...I'll check ahead!"

IN the temple we go! (I'm first!)

There is not much to ponder, so, into the temple yonder! "What fears have I with companions nearby?" Cyperus' gaze seems to excitedly wander.
