As I said, for this turn ignore the NPC islands. Before your next battle report I'll think up a blurb on any related difficulties or political consequences associated with taking those islands. ;)

Plus, it makes the interceptor cheap.

LOCKED IN: Jungle & Taiga attack with overwhelming votes. SB people are all sleeping right now though.

Edit: Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask you guys about a banner. They were a pretty cool idea in the Spacebattles game, I thought. You can add it to your signature or the like:

Code: [Select]
█████If nobody suggests a different banner, I'll go ahead and add this one to the OP.

Hope we manage to hold the centre. I would have agreed with the attack choices anyway.

Hope we manage to hold the centre.
Ahahahahaha.
We won't. Their ships are able to shell every inch of that archipelago. Their troops will outnumber us. We don't have equipment designed for island-hopping. Maybe, if we'd rolled a 5-6 on the torpedo, we would be able to sink enough of their ships to where we could be merely driven back to a sliver of land, whilst still technically hanging on.

Nah. We should have better luck in the jungle. We have flamethrowers. They don't. Will that be enough to capture a section? Maybe. Allegedly we have other land advantages. Though our- again alleged- air advantage will be less useful there, since it is hard to spot bombing targets through the canopy.
Provided we rule the skies, holding onto the desert should be doable. Our tanks are... once again allegedly... better than theirs. Motorbikes were extremely useful in the desert before.
Now, when both sides attack the same territory, Sensei has said that one side will gain ground, no matter what. If there is a stalemate, he flips a coin. I'm not sure if the same applies in the north, since we aren't technically attacking the same territory.

The Taiga... I dunno. None of their soldiers are used to the cold weather, maybe that will -initially- grant us some small bonus? Our camouflage should be useful there. I doubt they will attack there, so worst case we simply don't gain any ground.

Our tanks are full well better than theirs, and their AP shots are making what tanks that carry them VE. And depending on the terrain on the archapelago we can make it hell for them to dislodge us.

I am going to guess they are going to attack the archipelago, because they would be fools not to take it, and the northern island because there is too much at stake there. if we win there, we get to keep oil(cheap planes) and they lose the ore.

Anyone noticed that their two islands have names and ours don't? Should we name our plains and mountains islands?

Those two islands are from their last game. I guess we could name the islands under our control.
