Actually, it'd work very, very well. That much pressure will get every AT and AP mine for some area AROUND the boulder as well, I imagine.

Worst case scenario is that the Death Ball has a few rockets blasted off and veers wildly off course, maybe even turning around and crushing its operators.

The Death Ball to clear obstacles is actually not a bad idea.  At the very least it could probably tear up concertina wire, which would be nice since we're on the offensive again.  Who needs bangalore torpedoes anyways?

I don't see why we WOULDN'T use those things---they're the same expense as our best tanks, aren't they? We can have a Deathball-cleared path for every single tank we've got :P

Ehh, they seem a bit less reusable. An average tank maybe survives for 1-3 battles. The deathball is probably nearer to one. So it'd probably only be one deathball for every couple of thanks.

So uh... Do we want to deploy the Garm in its current form? It's... Really bad. Worse than our current lineup for anti-ship purposes. Basically useless against ground targets. It may have some utility against shore installations though, and given how some of you want to try for a landing...

We should deploy it. It better for sea to shore than the saltseeker, it will help with the landing.

Hello.
Can I have a question about Vlanlados? Is it possible to simply drown the mines in concrete and then give it up? Uranium will probably not be usefull for quite some time, and cleaning concrete will take some time.

Deploying the GARM will just give Cannala a chance to copy it and make a better version before we get any significant utility out of it; the marginal benefit of attacking shore installations is not worth it.

Unfortunately, the pitchblende formations are widespread and exposed- hence the Vlanladosians having quarried them for rock to build their homes in the first place.

I agree that deploying the GARM is asking for Cannala to develop a better one next turn, but we still need it for shore bombardment anyway. Don't forget, next turn we're trying to land on the Plains island, which is a more open environment perhaps suited for anti-radar Saltseekers.
