Do the images seem smaller?

Not noticeably. They always fit quite nicely to the forum width on my browser/my display, and they still do, not perceptively differently.  Going to their imgur source (served as a web-page with bumf around, even though "open image in new tab" was selected - an imgur web server thing - then again as "open image as new tab", similar, but without the bumf) it looks no better than its looks-ok current style, and even slightly fuzzier (differing scaling technique?).

I've no problem with any of the current images, and had rather assumed that you were saying that you had a update images which had somehow rescaled after committing but prior to posting. And that this was the delay. (Rather than the A.N.Other forum players taking longer to submit turns, or just Life generally getting in your way, either of which is even more excusable, and even less something that we can directly help with, so never mind...)

It was something to do with stepping out of my vehicle to fry up some bacon, 'cos I hear that works even on vegetarians, though not sure about mechanical men... It was better put than that, and was put as somewhat of question as to whether you meant that kind of thing (might distract the others, not already ahead of my planned move?),to which I was patiently awairing either answer or implementation but it does appear I failed to post it.  Darn.
