You must move 1 space, you get a second free space, and then can move up to your speed in additional spaces.
Going faster than 3 spaces onto mild corners 60° are risky if your handling is low, and faster than 2 spaces for sharp corners 120°. However the risk of crash is at most 50% and usually much lower. Crashing may cause damage and will remove the automatic 1 space movement for the next turn.
Crash checks happen when moving onto a space.
You must decide which path you are taking when you end your turn on a fork. (Or you will end on the space before it)
You can ram a target you think will end in the same space as you. This can cause the target to crash on corners if they have less integrity(max) than you.
Ranged attacks can be done to any target up to 2 hexes away from where you end your movement(including different parts of the track) except the last 2 spaces you moved through. You must specify a target and where you think they will be.
You must end you movement on a special recharge spot, and then move only 1 space on your text turn to get a special.
You can attack other players on the 3rd turn.
