Eight heroes wake up in a brightly lit room, furnished with wooden boards and four passages leading out. In the center of the room lies a
strange object, on a small island floating in the center of a
pool of water.
Ismok, mad prophet of the god Ebum, gazes across the room at his future sacrifices. Yes, yes, these will do nicely. However, he feels slightly nervous about the
quivering mass of flesh standing next to him. He also feels at unease regarding the the
toga’d figure, sensing an aura of blasphemy around him.
Previously mentioned
quivering mass of flesh, known to itself as
Roboson, bubbles and oozes as it senses the wonderful meat-beings surrounding it. So many delicious entities to corrupt…
Zin Geuss, a beastmaster, sharpens his gaze, in preparation for the upcoming hunt. Somehow, the
strange object in the center of the room calls to him, as if they had some sort of special connection.
Shae Cliow, master of the mind and sorcerer supreme, quickly gazes into the minds of the figures he himself feels are the most worrysome: the particularly
well-dressed fellow and the
suspiciously normal human. He feels like these two are more than they seem, but how so?
Dark Felissan, having just disposed of his lighter counterpart, quickly smooths the wrinkles out of his victorian clothing. No need to get dirty quite yet.
John Johnson, Master Boxer, is freaking out because
holy crap everyone else looks like they’re about to violently murder each other. Fortunately, he can rely on his fists to help him out of a conflict, right?
Ziggalig, an insane demigod cast down from the divine realm, observes his surroundings. He feels uneasy about the
hooded cultist, for some reason. He feels a strange aura around his soul.
Insectomorph slithers inside the skull cavity of his
human host, processing data regarding the surrounding combatants. The
mindmancer particularly worries him, for he has the power to reveal the parasite’s
secret. Maybe he should be killed, just to be safe.
