982 AD, Mid-Autumn

The city surrenders after two more weeks, and your soldiers pillage and murder what's left of it. Your priests in meanwhile persecute the heretics, but there's not much left of them either. Future historians will note that your assaults on the city curbed its population from about 35 to 16 thousand citizens in span of few years.

Few days later, as you're ready to move on, a messenger arrives from your son Atan; the news of Luathbas siege, ruination and pillage have cowed Felonsein into submission, and Atan's forces captured the city, eradicating about hundred rebels who refused to back down.

Your offices convene with you about the next step of the campaign...

A) We return home; Dahnian troops will surely subdue the northern rebels in few weeks.
B) We march northwards and help Dahnians put the northern rebels to death.
C) We stay here for a while and send messengers to nearby towns for conscripts.

Killing almost 30 thousand over two assaults is a bit much, even by modern standards. Even in Mosul, where IS is literally killing people who try to leave and using civilian populations as human shields, civilian deaths are estimated to be at around a few thousand. That's from a city with a population of 650 k.

Hearing of this, various settlements and parishes of Pantheonist faith form little militias that drive out some of the noisier monotheist worshippers from the major settlements.

The rebellion is over, or so you can claim to be.

You return just in time to receive the news of how the caravaning of gemstones for glass went.

It was, bluntly said, terrible - taxes and profits were minor and the people, mayhaps distracted by the war and its terrors, weren't really hooked on having shiny glassware in their homesteads.

Few days later an envoy of the Archpriest of Pantheon arrives to have an audience with you.

"Greetings, Grand Duke Estwalf of Tven! The Archpriest wishes to inquire if, with Luathbas secure and loyal, you can begin renovation of the ruined Grand Temple this autumn."

A) "Sure, I will send money and workers right away, as promised."
B) "No - the Duchy is in bad shape because of this war, and I have to postpone the renovation till next year."
C) "No! Duchy will require years to get into previous state, and that's where my expenses for next several years will go. Tell the Archpriest to have patience!"

Dwarven gemstones and your local gold bullion arrives, making your Treasurer giddy.

Another Acceptant uprising in southwest!

Fortunately, the local soldiers, backed by Pantheonist faithful, quickly supress the few hundred rebels before they manage to spill over the countryside!

However, your nobles are still concerned about possibility of future heresies. They ask you to promulgate an edict that will put harsh measures upon heretics!

You decide to...

A) Ban all monotheist faiths, basically allowing only Pantheonism and its regional variants to be freely worshipped in Grand Duchy (foreign cults excluded, of course).
B) Ban Singularism and its Acceptant offshoot, as they were both sources of trouble recently.
C) Ban the Acceptant heresy alone.

And the harsh measures taken against those who worship the banned faith(s) will be...

A) Fines and taxes.
B) Exile.
C) Death.
