The second question would be the propulsion used. While you will definitely have ion thrusters as backup, Your engineers have put up three solutions to provide the main thrust:

A Good old VASIMR and ion thrusters, of course. Rough calculations means you will reach TRAPPIST-1 in 2000 years, give or take a few hundred.
B We should just tap into the reactor and reconfigure it as a fusion rocket! This would shorten the journey time to around 1000 years, but the energy budget would be much tighter.
C We need the most cutting edge technology available - Antimatter generators! Probably we can iron out all its problems. Journey time will be reduced 600 years, but this is utterly unproven technology - if it ultimately fails you would expect up to 20000 years to the destination, depending on how and when it become inoperable. That said, your energy supplies will not last that long. Hopefully you will have a plan B by then.
