B results

The men made note not to bother the forest maidens. All but one who mingled with them. Sure their naked but they are green. Like leaf green. Also to note there are marked trees. The Wild life is mundane save for red elk that are big enough to be a steed.

Results

Discovery;

Basic Chemistry: Now know basic knowledge of chemistry. Not just cooking and baking but what is flammable. Which in turn means manuare and flour bags can now be used as bombs. Also improved Medicine slightly and improved torches.

Building: Arroficial lakes: By digging large holes and gathering water from river. Now have a fishery, pond for hygiene, and a surplus of drinking water. Each one marked.

After a boring lesson with elders who refuse to be quiet. Got enough sense to better resources. ( 1 new Stewardship point)

The troops decide to take time to ditch their leather hide armor for bone rings and lamellar. Also some take more riding lessons with Beasts.  Weapons are still bone and stone. But that's better than wood.

Crafting:

Roll: 6.

Using new fire treatment and smoking method that smoked meat is to iron. One has made steel. In this case. A new shield, round of the stuff. And in the ceremonial naming. The Priestess and her maidens write prayers in it for good luck.

Item:

Steel Shield of Prayers:

Offering:

As it was a good season it felt right for a offering. What is treasured most makes the best sacrifice. It was the Annui way. But they are not cruel Gods. No human sacrifices needed. A healthy cow was presented instead. With the main killer who had a tree trunk maul with a lead ball point. It had to be done proper. One clean hit for no pain. And it worked. The beast died. They carved it up. Burning fats to ash, bones into items of worship, meat consumed after cooked. The sky was clear. This is a good sign.

1 Divine Favor

Adventure: 10 out of 12 ( 6 plus hinteress and chiefs 4 add on)

The northern mountains are treacherous. What is discovered are several nests. Flying birds of incredible size and large spiders. Also. Every once and a while some stones seem out of place. During the trip you and Gwyn discuss life together and the irony she is the only wife you married out of free will. No politician gain.  With smooth talk claim it's because as a hunter you knew of her in person as you two grew up. One faithful night you get... close.

The following day the scouts head back when rocks fall. Into shapes. Massive tailed shapes. They are craglings! Blood thirsty rock monsters that seek fresh blood and cruelty!

Roll: 10 + 2 due to martial skill. 12 out of twelve.

The fight was brief. The shield repelled a stone fist as the glass blade struck a vulnerable threat spilling golden blood. Gwyn killed two with her massive cleaver ripped arrows and your faithful war steed. A twelve foot tall fire bear took care of a third. As the men attacked joints of the last one  before slaying it. Sure they believe in mercy. But not when it's monsters who made the first attack via stealth crush.

Soon the tribe heads back.

( Results are over. Next post is next questions.)

Second half of spring 900 b e

Gwyn is showing signs of morning sickness. Safe to say she's pregnant. Which is fine for now until the last three minutes. Also she would be high queen should something happen to you.

That one man who refused to listen to your order. Bjorne is dead. One day while gathering lumber he twitches violently and green spewed from his mouth and vines popped out of his body and died. The green mass then went into the woods.

This naturally has people shooken up.

What will you do?

A: Go yourself to woods to demand answers for this. The nature of the denizens.

B: Bar off that part of wood and ignore the denizens.

C: Hunt down the plant Horror. Not merely to kill. Just answers. As it left one of your men a bloody mess. His fault but stilll.

Aside that

Your princess bride has given you a heirloom for good luck she hid away until now. A necklace. Which shines like the Sun. Said to bring vitality. No one knows why.

Your first wife the Priestess mourns for the loss as she leads the burial rights.

On another note. Was curious about: would you like a wiki read on Pangaea world, for quick reference when things happen or things show up?

Update:

Lore of Pangaea:

Arch Enemy: Winter Lords. People fro the northern mist pole on the planet. Masters of the ice and snow. They descend from their snow capped ice palaces in winter.  To bath the world in cold. For said winter season.

The reason arch enemy: one of your ancestors married a Winter maiden. Turning her ice cold skin, into that of hot and pink. Granting her feeling and mortality. This angered her winter brethren so they hound your tribe especially hard.

When most active: Winter.

What happens: Worst winter weather Imaginable and monsters pop up. Rarely they show up in person.

Weakness: Heat/ fire.

Building list revised:

Great Hall: Now have a proper home for warlord. Place for trophies and if you get a council. Hold meetings.

Watch Towers: See far out for safety's sake.

Walls: To defend the encampment.

Roads: Faster travel in your territory.

Bridge: To go across deep part of rice down south.

Foundry/ Improved Blacksmith: Even better crafting and mass production.

Temple: More prayer results.

Stables: Hold animals in home instead of just pastures and fenced zones.

Wind Mill: Makes grain/flour with wind power and primitively gears.

Storage House: Hold more food. Less likely food gets vermin in it.

Suggestions on stats:

Martial: if maxed out at ten.
+ 3 If leading troops in battle. Can use two handed weapons with one hand, gigantic weapons with two hands and can equip anything with no penalty. Even lead armor.

Plots: If up to five.

Can use spy command on tribe or any known neighbor.

Influence: If up to five.

Can make a Council. A trio of three officials who do stuff for you.

Fertility: If up to seven.

Chance of getting twins.

Intelligence: If at nine.

Can pick list of discovery to work on.

Item list:

Glass Sword: Your crafted special weapon. Pierces and slashes through flesh well. Warning as it's brittle less likely against metal/ armor.

Solar Necklace: Magic glowing stone necklace that provides life and light.

Shield of Prayers: Solid round steel shield with prayer runes. Sturdy against hits and prayers disrupt bad magic.

Dire Bear: A twelve foot tall, two ton bear of muscle and death.

Tribe resources:

Basic life stock at a farm can be found here.

Exotics:

Falcons: Handy in hunting and vermin catching.

Red Elk: Newest addition. Strong enough to support a man. As fast as a horse and has more stamina.

Sabretooth Tigee: Basic war steed of the north. Fierce meat eating kitties who have long teeth.

Basic tiger: Cones in normal and white.

Wolf: Tamed and pretty much skin to a dog.

Dire Wolf: Bigger war oriented version.

Bears: Your culture has tamed bears now. Including dire bears.

Rest are reptiles as no amphibians encountered, noir strange fish or giant bugs ( could not tame said bugs yet.)

Trodons: Smartest pet. But smallest too. Mainly for novelty

Blade Feet: Raptors. Big enough to be mount or attack pet, Sone have feathers. Some do not.

Hunting Geckos: Massive lizards that hunt prey with their masters.

Notice on exploring: Now have unlocked mountains. Can go into the caves or lairs around or go as far north as possible to see what's there.

Rarest metal is currently Steel. Just discovered. Iron is rare, bronze is available.

Results

Intelligence + 1= Next time in discovery mode. Can pick tech.

Stewardship + 1= Now supplies are better managed. ( Helps in dry spells or winter) Also less likely robbed by thrives or vermin.

Roads: You have roads now to edges of your territory. And even a sign. Now aside faster travel the random nomadic family unit have come to settle and merge with your people.

Offering

This time your high Priestess wife takes out a stack of pleasant smelling plants and burns them. They white smoke goes into the air as in the ashes with fatty oil, the tribe was marked.

For Gwyn she was marked on forehead and belt.

Roll: With total got a 5. Means child birth will not be a issue. Should The Hunter Maiden survive for birthing.

Discovery:

Herbal Knowledge: Tracing your Medicine man roots and gathering tests of stock piles of plants and the new plants around. One now knows what plants do what with testing. Helps farming, knowledge of poison, and medcicine score goes up.

Next time in Discovery the list will be revealed.

Equipment: This time commanders of patrolling units now have a bronze weapon. Lead stone slings, bows and arrows or javelins. Troops now have option for long range, mid range skirmishing, and better quality weapons. As the cheapest melee weapon now are bone hilts with really sharp rocks. As opposed to sharpen bone. Which sucks unless it was a dragon or something.

Story time: A

You rode into the woods with loyal guardsmen in tow. After tracking down the smelly green thing. You do not draw your glass sword. For, it's not attacking you. One notes the trees are strange, twisted and have symbols. Then came a nude green woman that hugs the mishappen creature. A glow effects occurs as she looks to you and your men. " There is no need to kill him. He is but a child."

" How did you speak our language?" You asked and stratled in this. She replies. " From the child. His father spoke your tongue. Now we do too."

Cue the woods shaking as a massive plant lizard man, thing erupts out of rotten logs. It's orange eyes pierce into your soul. " His mother died. After that man tempted her with the flesh."

" So your male then. Then what happened to the father?"

The female replies. " Oh it is simple. When a female reaches her peak. She releases spores which attach to the father. Our men take the spores and they drop off and become life. In time. Since your human. The experience, was different."

" Obviously." You reply. No one draws any weapons. These, plant things have not attacked. So no justice there. " So what do we do now?"

" We will give you a map of the woods. There are others in our borders. Just keep our groove sacred and tell your men not to allow it to happen again."

This, was reasonable. Extremely despite they are not human. Then again. Tribals never are really racist to begin with. You and your men leave. No one had to die, so no one did.

Summer  First half

During the summer season as the people were glad to be alive and no plant folk invasion. There is a report by a hunter in cameoflagued appearance. Apparently there is company.

" To the East. There is a great mass of people heading our way. They bring big Beasts and people. Did not get a look at what they were. But with our roads they will try to come here for sure! What do we do?"

A: Go out with a band to see who these people are in our land.
B: Go out in force as they are obviously invaders.
C: Meet them, lure them back to the home front to be dealt with.
D: Wait until night to visit with a army. So if their intentions are not well. Then ambush them.

It might be the too much Micro thing.

Not to mention the rules. I have a Deity SG that has simpler rules and other Pangaea games. One no stat system, one with traits and last one only having four stats in total.

Also others do not have town mode. So not sure. If someone else votes or what not will keep going. Game ends after three generations successfully retire. And there are ten turns in a year.

Last season is Sacred Season. Where your Gods and Ancestors show up to speak their minds of how your handling things.

All ideas are good. Added only one discovery a time and three suggested so rolled. Got 2 of three. Engineering. Not so bad.

Results.

Discovery: Engineering: Now you can upgrade buildings further after making them to be more durable and with advanced tools. Get construction.

Training

: While thinking clearly and being stunned to the moment one fils a mental awareness not achieved before. Either your mind is sharper or world has slowed down.
Intelligence: Maxed

During this time you gather the best warriors around and find best tricks to dealing with many foes. Including multiple foes at once.

Martial: Maxed

Storage house has been built. Spare things labeled and placed to keep tabs on supplies.

Priestess

There was a heart felt discussion and talk as she was your first wife and did not provide a child yet. Though Gwyn did effortlessly. You convince her it must have been fate and that all will work out. She is happy and a happy Priestess is a good one.

Explore:

Down river with Gwyn and others. The belly bump is apparent as three things were discovered. A long forgotten battle field with gear intact. Secondly the bones of a ancient animal are visible. A Dunosaurs skeleton! Despite lack of bone fear needed. Would fetch a handy trophy to boost. As to what is in our border.

Lastly. Dead guys from the site are walking. Skeletons, ghouls and zombies. Despite this. You swear you do not make this up. Holding sized duck people in armor are getting rid of the dead. Either by green jade blades disrupting the magic or head being destroyed. Skull keeps the soul caged after all. Afterwards their leader speaks in a Donald Duck tone.

" We need to talk." After speaking you explain your concerned with the undead. But got to deal with others. It is now a option. To meet the Dickinson who are currently camped by the river.

Option A

Latter on you approach the caravan with a handful of riders.  On top main wagon was a stouted bearded man. Who's metal axe leaps right into his right hand. " And who you be!?"

You explain situation. Escaping winter lirds. Settling here at sacred time and moved in. New blood to the land. The dwarf sounds thrilled. " We were just heading back to our mountain : Points to north one you explored. Just not its caves. " ,We are a trade caravan making rounds. You could be of big help. We need muscle to protect our interests and you seem capable of fighting." With your blessing. Allowed to leave. Two new factions. What do they mean?

Summer 2

Aside the two new factions. Whom you can visit now. This time GM rolled a critical and no town event. Two events instead.

1:

After the massive dinosaur skeleton came back to the village word spread. Then one day a 30 foot tall humanoid reptile in a Greco tunic appears with bags. The guards were scared stiff. But seemed friendly.

" Aye I heard you got big bones here. May give me members of my friends. Can I have them? I offer you a trade."  Cue a basket the tail had. Eggs within. " Bibes for life. What do you say?"

A: Ask why
B: Take the deal
C: Ask to leave. Non threatening though

2:

Also a great big stone has been revealed. It fell from the sky the night before and took twelve men and two horses to bring. What do we do with it?

A: Use ore in crafting
B: Keep for trade. Them dwarves love metals
C: Dedicate a shrine to it as it must have been delivered by the Gods.

Edit: Rolled for Priestess. She is with child and happy. Talking to Gwyn about it. Princess is not so well as foreigner and maternal outsider.

Aside that get to visit Dwarves and Duckin. Get to choose which one first.

Choice A; Ask why, (Can we request to the giant lizard man if these eggs are for food or will produce livestock?)
-Choice C, Dedicate a shrine for it as it must have been delivered by the Gods
-Visit Dwarves

(First off, I think we are in cruel in that if we never have a child with the Princess Wife than once the next generation happens than we get all the free land and people the Princess all to us. Of course this is not including that she might start a civil war if we don't have a child with her.)
Second do you want us to not suggest 6 actions for this turn?

Due to running around so much this turn ( two instead of one which requires your big attention) No time to tell the others what to do. Why a great Hall+ war council comes in handy. They do two things for you. Now the wait til tomorrow of for sleep. And if more happens and no votes the dice. Otherwise good set up.

As for lizard answer.

" Because it reminds me of our live stock. Memories you know. I offer life stock. If you take care of them. Though, do not remember which of the breeds they are. Two dozen in total. That's twenty four animals next spring. If you take care of them that is."
