I don't even care right now, drunk mode, it's true.  It's like "saving" money by not getting catastrophe coverage on health care.  It works great until it doesn't.

So many people lost their investments, the assets they had built over their entire lives, to the bubble.  It still happens even now.

As we've seen over and over, even the investment funds we hear advertised everywhere aren't safe.  Yes, they're safer, but from time to time someone fucks them over.  They even disclose that in the ads.

Capitalism is a failed system ripe for abuse and nothing more.  Your money is better spent on your community, not playing some entrepreneur's" stacked slots.

Unless you can outsmart all those people who dedicate their lives and their social connections to knowing the market.

The Gamestop thing also demonstrated that when regular people actually do hit a good idea the system will actively try to fuck those individuals over to protect companies that're out to game the system.

However I would like to clarify that I would not be against eco-friendly energy, denying climate change or peddling conspiracy theories and other lowly crap you see, and to this point I go, since is the reason of this post.

GET THE FUCKING VACCINE PEOPLE. I got the two doses of the Sinopharm, a Chinese (as in COMMUNIST China) vaccine (got the second today) and so far, yes I can still get erections, no, have not become homosexual, or asexual, no, haven't changed my mind about anything political wise and I'm pretty sure you can't get permanently chemically castrated or have a complete gene therapy work on you done with just two shots. And if "they" (whoever those "they" you refer, reptilian, jews, communists, gays, or the mighty communist reptilian jews gays) actually have that kind of tech then is game over for you anyway dude. Neither is this for "tracking you", you are most likely reading this on a device that is perfectly capable of doing that and more and you gladly pay for it, charge it and carry it with you all the time.

No, I'm not advocating to get rid of your phone although learning about what a VPN is would not hurt you. I'm just saying, GET vaccinated please, specially YOU that have the chance of getting what qualitatively might be higher on the scale than the Sinopharm.

Bottom line, and quoting a cartoon I saw: Horoscopes aren't real, natural disasters aren't divine punishments, vaccines don't cause autism, It's the fucking XXI century, act like it please.

If it helps, remember that the US is pretty fucky politically, given the US does not really HAVE a proper left-wing party compared to most countries. The democrats attract socialists and progressives because there isn't any real alternative in a system with backwards electoral laws like ours, but the party establishment is center at most, leaning center-right by global standards.

There was a series of articles published on Breitbart recently that claimed there's a conspiracy of democrats deliberately killing true patriots with covid, by... pushing the vaccine. You see, republicans clearly have no choice but to oppose everything the libs say, which means resisting and equivocating on vaccination (and when a republican publicly break ranks they immediately get swamped by what are clearly Soros-funded bots posing as anti-vaxxers).

It's very hard for me personally to think of american conservatism today as more than empty contrarianism fed on culture-war bullshit, cultivated over several decades by the many grifters that have been getting regularly laundered into the mainstream (today most prominently by Fox and Carlson). With vaccination in particular, enough of the raw material of their movement is sourced from Alex Jones-esque con-artists and televangelists peddling fake health supplements (which incentivizes using anti-vax arguments) that it's started bleeding over into the real world in a way that happens to kill their supporters during a pandemic.

Don't worry, the Democrats at large are still a conservative party. The only reason AOC, Sanders, Tlaib and The Squad are Democrats is because that's really the only viable option for them in our fucked up two party system.
Everyone else is a neoliberal who believes that the free markets are the most efficient way to get public works done screw whatever profit incentive means.
Maybe one day we'll have room in our nation for more than just two right-wing parties...

You'd still be able to call yourself one or claim party affiliation with them, but in the US so can I and there's very little that would make me happier than for the GOP as an organization to go varyingly metaphorically die in a ditch.

Being a Republican is one thing, a lot of my family has been that.  And I definitely understand being against authoritarian "communism".  Heck, maybe you aren't even fully on board with LGBTQ+ civil rights and stuff, I can understand that too given your situation.

But you aren't stuck in the "Believe the opposite of the Democrats on EVERY issue" and "Anything I don't like is communism" mindset that has overwhelmed the US Republican Party.  It's weird how refreshing that is.

Heck, yeah you're probably a liberal (in the original definition, not the FOX "news" definition) and would fit fine in the Democrat party with your fiscal conservatism and anti-communism.

I had two gay brothers, one of them died so now there is only one. I love them both and its their life, their choice. I really don't get much on the current sexuality trends but I don't really judge either. Guess I'm lucky of being a simple guy?

I'm pretty conservative to a lot of things, but I apply that to MY life, not anyone else's, because I also believe in (and yearn for) freedom above all things as long you don't affect or impose anything on anyone else.

However I do believe in free market, reduced but effective government, equal rights for civil unions (look its basically a contract, if I wanna, say my best friend to be legally able to look after me and make choices about unplugging me or the sorts, why the hell no?). On gun ownership I do not oppose, but they should not be sold in grocery shops. Complete background checks with annual psychological tests and mandatory complete safety training should be required....

And I'll stop here because my phone is about to die.

I know you dislike the political left Baal, but I would like to bring up that the US has worked very fucking hard to make sure that no socialist political system experiences any kind of success whatsoever. That would threaten the political and capitalist status quo, so any place in the world that demonstrates that the American way isn't the best way, the US will go out of its way to kill it in the crib, and leave it in a corrupted and mangled state.
