Hey, everybody, Trump is trying to distract us from something...

Or has he just forgotten the last twelve months of other stuff, including that he already upset the whole applecart?  I suppose that could be true, too. Wouldn't be the first president to have memory problems.

... I mean, I guess it shows he's at least capable of making mouth sound equivalents displaying a recognition that collusion is a negative thing? Or is he actually praising clinton or somethin'? Just stringing words together so when people notice the obvious he can say he didn't say he was colluding with russia when he kinda' blatantly insinuated he was? Bets as to if it's another twitter post that ends up in a court opinion?

Also have to wonder if that one got vetted by the lawmonkeys or not, heh.

I think that would be bad for both of us, actually. Remembering isn't just for the purpose of self-flagellation and giving our enemies something to point and "whataboutism" with (although you'd never know it to look at Russia), there's an intrinsic value to it too.

The intrinsic value of Trump is manifold. "How does something like Trump happen?" is something future generations will ask themselves. At a very minimum, they'll have social media to dig through as well.

I would prefer that history books tell it as it was, with no historical revisionism or rather, Revisionist history.

Apparently WH officials and allies are calling for the admin to take steps towards regieme change. In general though, we don't have a great track record of forced or manipulated regieme change in other countries going well. WWII Japan and Germany are probably the only exceptions. Actually, WWII Japan wasn't really a regieme change as the Emperor stayed, but it was the whole miltary regieme part that was dismantled, and Germany was a team effort.

While we have done regieme change in the form of supporting rebels before, those don't exactly have a track record of going well, and Iran won't take it well if that's our policy because, well, we did it to them before.

(plus one needs to decide what to focus on when talking about history. The events can be 100% the same but "brave colonists conquering the new world" has a different connotation to "invading europeans conquering native tribes and driving them from good land to sub-par hinterlands" is pretty much the same facts, but entirely different in focus, and 100% historical revisionism)
