Where was the pepsi when we needed it
Tfw Pepsi was there when we most needed it

Strangely enough, that is by far, the best coverage of it that I've seen.

Is it just me, or is the guy who gets the pepsi at 3 minutes in the same guy as the guy who got his head smashed?

Hilariously while the real reporters were taking pictures of burning waste disposal units this guy, of all guys, managed to be present at every single major event in the protests. It's breathtaking that ironic pepsi dude gave the best and most impartial coverage of the whole event. One of the yt comments got it spot on in that he's a real life forest gump, inexplicably at the centre of happenings wherever they happened

Is it just me, or is the guy who gets the pepsi at 3 minutes in the same guy as the guy who got his head smashed?
I thought so too, would make sense too since the 3min pepsi guy was at the forefront of the fence when things were calm - and the guy who got his head smashed was also in the thick of things when the fence came down, and they both have the same shirt and hair

Also in alarming news

Antifa learned only that they need better organization, weapons and leadership

For context UK antifascists here tend to stick to the big cities, with one really big clash about two years back between antifa and skinheads. French antifa also have a good reputation for decent organization and success rates

Some weird gender politics, reminds me of the last time when they went on about how leftists should not go to the gym or take up marksmanship because that's what the right wing did, was rather odd to say the least. They are a silly bunch at times
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Anarchists desiring leadership, they are already being corrupted by right wing ideology
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
And it seems if they are not stopped, they will continue to escalate the violence. Tfw happening is inevitable
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I don't think their combat training is going to do much except escalate the countdown to a losing struggle
Be safe Americlaps. A wise man once said to me to be kind to one another, because no one else will, behind all the dank memes serious troubles are brewing - not even Pepsi can stop this. With hope it's clear to see small cores of extremists are doing most of the brawling, yet with caution one must watch, as small groups of extremists often shake the world, world wars were started over less and revolution is a spectator sport

That and other leftist groups are full of planning to disrupt Richard Spencer's thing at Auburn University tomorrow, and right groups are organizing similarly to "provide security" to the event. Sad but it seems with all the tourists there's pretty much zero chance that it'll be peaceful unless they deploy lots and lots of cops, and even then there'll probably be fights on the periphery of the event.

The event was cancelled, as it happens.

I question why a college is hosting Richard Spencer at all. Like, Milo and co are shitty trolls but Spencer is the rare Actual Neo-Nazi. He was removed from CPAC. CPAC. Whenever CPAC convenes my Right Wing Watch feed is filled for days, and he was too crazy for them.

At this point ANTIFA will be anywhere against anyone that disagrees, EVEN if the issue is something they agree on.

Also, from everything I had seen with ANTIFA in it hates the police and everyone in the goverment but still ask the police (hilariously so) to arrest someone they are accusing of hitting/sexually assaulting. Then they will get in the way of the police if they are arresting someone that is being aggressive.

It's at times like this when one realizes the sheer geographic size of the USA. In tiny European countries, police can be redeployed to respond to rapidly devolving situations, in the USA the distances involved mean that this is understandably not something easily achievable on the national scale - it is interesting from the outside perspective how in some states Americans find the police presence is excessive, while in others, lacking. USA is big

Pretty certain Spencer goes beyond neo-nazism and is a genuine neo-fascist, albeit feckless but still one nonetheless
Looking at the Uni, they didn't invite him, he organized the event at their campus and they allowed so in order to not infringe his freedom of speech - encouraging the "campus community to respond to speech they find objectionable with their own views in civil discourse and to do so with respect and inclusion"
So yeah they're not hosting him so much as he was gonna show up there, having paid the Uni 700$ to use their venue. The Uni canceled his booking the moment they realized that his arrival would likely not just be uncivil discourse, but possibly turn into a genuine threat to the welfare of all at the Uni (being the site of a skinhead/antifa brawl is not exactly a place of learning). Spencer probably intended to go there because Milo went there before and things were peaceful enough, seems this was the red line for Auburn Uni

Also I do love the comment "Physical maneuvers favor men and are thus tools of the patriarchy" :P

It is just a cluster truck of silly implications. The funniest? It is a "Did you know Hitler liked sugar?"

You say that but it hits something: A Parody, no matter how extreme, is indistinguishable from the real thing IF it is likewise just as extreme.

So your call: Someone taking a dump on feminists... Or a person from Tumblr.

snip

The ANTIFA had done this to themselves. They made themselves an enemy and will go after anyone that they think is against them. There were a range of people there from just people that are reporters/youtubers just observing to Trump supporters to skinheads and the like. It is one thing to oppose an idea by talking or at least letting the opposition put their foot in their mouths, its another to use airhorns, fireworks, and various other devices like rape whistles that were paid with student fees (no I am not joking). The ANTIFA calls it de-platforming the opposition.

ANTIFA is already starting to arm.
