Wynne took a few moments to process this information. This was all... rather confusing.

"Twin sister, eh... well that's kinda outta nowhere... Should check, lady, yer dad's the lord o' this place? 'cause I think our boss was meetin' with him."

What she didn't say was that, like Victoria, she would have some choice words for the man that'd knocked up her mother and then left.

  "Sounds like a reason you'd want to stick around."

[SOLDIER First]

"There'll be other work. Like Zeel said, black market magic. Who knows? I could suddenly develop the ability to use tomes in the next few minutes."

[Swordstar]

Sea frowned for a few seconds before shaking her head.

"No you're just being silly. You can't use tomes without studying. Well... No that's not true. Some people can. But Master Sybil says those are special cases. Plus you can't heal old injuries like your eye. So really you're just being scared because you don't want to get hurt? But that's silly too with how willing you were to join everyone before... You're a strange man."

[SOLDIER First]

"Nah, I'm not any more scared of being hurt than I was five minutes ago. I just realize that I'm kind of tired of having people try to murder me. And since there's clearly some divine intervention going on right now, I have an excellent opportunity to go do something less death-inducing. So if you would just let go of my arm..."

[Swordstar]

Sea considered his request for a second and then shook her head.

"Nu-uh. Not gonna let go. You belong with this group. We balance out your grumpy!"

[SOLDIER First]

"Almost literally every single one of you has insulted me in some form or another involving the word 'grumpy' since we've met. Including you, Sea. If anything, you're trying to put out this fire with oil. I don't need any more oil."

[SeriousConcentrate]

  "He has a point there."

[Swordstar]

Reaching out and poking Caius on the nose, Sea giggled.

"Silly. You need us to balance out the grumpy and we need you to be the grump to balance is out! Plus you help keep us alive which is nice... How can I pay you back for that If you're gone?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

  "Pretty sure you already owe Eric a lot, Sea. Don't you be greedy."

[SOLDIER First]

"Just ask Eric to work overtime. Or get one of the quiet guys to do it. I bet one of them is bound to be just as realistic as I am."

[Swordstar]

"Why... Why can't I pay them both back? They're both possibly going to be in danger sometime or need me to help them somehow... Right?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Dale snorted.

  "I think Sybil still has a few things to teach you."

"We're still negotiating guys, can you stop flirting for a couple minutes? Or at least not drag me into it?"

[SOLDIER First]
