 (Up to) 5 master wizards must balance working together with hogging all the glory as they travel across Middle Terrum completing various quests. Each wizards starts the game knowing 100 spells chosen from four tiers (see below for details). Each spell is unique, and has a chance of failure which could lead to strange consequences. As the players complete missions and explore dungeons, they learn new spells and acquire powerful artifacts. But do they keep their secrets to themselves, or show their comrades who's the real boss?

Système de Magie
As part of character creation, each player is given 100 points to assign between four tiers. Each tier is like a school of magic, and each point invested gains them a spell from that tier. However, study of higher tiers requires adequate knowledge of lower tiers, so you cannot invest more points in a tier than you have invested in the tier below it (The first tier is an exception,since there are no tiers below it). The four tiers are:
4. Metamagic and Shielding Spells
3. Reality-Bending Spells
2. Divination and Control Spells
1. Combat and Destruction Spells
The spells you get from each school are not random. They are given in an order which reserves the most powerful for last. Spells from a tier you have invested many points in have a lower chance of failure.

I've never been one to turn down a good old robe and wizard hat. One hundred spells. . . Quite the amount indeed, that's twenty-five in each category?

And just for a better understanding, this would be an example of correct allocation?

The allocation is correct, but there exist more than 25 in each category. The "one-hundred spells" is how many you start the game with.
