Hey, DF community!

Totally not an Elf here, just wondering if I can get a little help.

I've edited my raws to give my Dwarves the [NO_DRINK] thingy thing, but there's no effect. I've also removed the "and industry" part from the description, and yet there was again no effect. I've saved the raw text, restarted DF, but all was for naught. Can anyone help me?

If you are altering the raws in df/raws/objects folder then you need to create a new game for the changes to take affect. If you want to mod an already existing save you need to go to df/data/save/region_X/raws folder.

By new game, do you mean a new fortress/adventurer in the same world or a whole new world?

Or not, "NO_DRINK" can be added to existing worlds, just edit the world's copy of the raws (as said earlier, these are found at "df/data/save/region_X/raws").
