If you think you can do a schedule, then by all means do it, but please, please, do not hesitate to drop it instantly if it gives you stress or anxiety or guilt for falling off it.
Thanks for the feedback, and the concern, on the Regular Weekly Updates thing. I'm fairly certain I want to do it, since I'd like to do what I can to keep the story moving at a predictable pace; we've got plenty of ground to cover! That said, suggestion games are shaped by the audience, so I can only prep certain assets ahead of time, and only plan so far into the future, which puts a limit on how fast a speed I can handle. I'm still getting a reliable feel for that.
If this gets onto a regular schedule, there are going to be times I've got to delay updates to create assets for new environments or unexpected scenes, and possibly when I get busy elsewise, but I'll definitely let folks know when that's happening.
For updates, something like tuesday/friday or monday/thursday would be better' gives you more than just a day between updates.
I'm leaning towards a Monday/Friday schedule, with an optional Wednesday update if we're in a simpler sequence I can produce at a faster pace. If nothing else, I think minimal art, conversation-focused updates could be done that way, going forward. Even though I'm a notoriously slow writer. >.<;
