Not well can you locate any ventilation
Rest on the floor stay and recover.
Well, Giglams wasn't teh one having coughing fits, so he blows mucus out his gills and tries not to breathe much.
"Reply: This one doubts that a vault would have ventilation, much less one that is in a cave underground."
"There's enough ventilation here to make an ever-burning trough of imp fat not eat up all the air, so the ventilation must actually be spectacular."
Check that, actually. How does this place ventilate?
The smoke seems to pool toward the top of the room, and you can't see through it, nor do you see movement in the cloud to gauge wind or anything. if anything, the pool of smoke is lower than before. It's at least redder than before, but that's from teh flaming pools of fat dripping into puddles on the floor and crawling like inverted raindrops up the wall behind the vat. Those pools are spreading.
mostly just lie on the ground and try not to die.
You continue coughing , attempting to gaps for breath but failing, on the verge of passing out from the pain in your lunges and the need for air.
Clunkers shrugs, though nobody can see him do so.
"Reply: This one will comply to the request."
Check the outside of the vault for ventilation. Also monitor the smoke/steam/air situation outside of the vault from time to time to see if it gets better.
Looks like the smoke near the door is mostly cleared. there is a fine layer of black water coating all the surfaces nearby. it's probably as safe as it's gonna get for them to come out.
a single, fist sized spider walks out of the blaze, itself on fire. It appears unperturbed by the flames licking it's exoskeletoon. On closer inspection, the flames appear to be coming from
inside the exoskeleton. It should die any second now. Perhaps it is already dead, and these are the expansions and contractions of the heat causing it to move like that.
